Hello! I’m AppleTrees, and I’m nervously-excited to be here! I’ve been lurking around for a little while without an account, but I figured I’d dip my foot in the water a bit and actually say something. 
I had an idea for a romhack probably around eight years ago, but convinced myself I didn’t really have the time or skills to actually finish it. Years later I have even less time on my hands and marginally more skill than I did then, but I figured I’d finally give an earnest try at completing it this time around. That led me here!
As for background, I got the 3DS very shortly after it was released, which meant I got access to the “Ambassador Program” that came with a bunch of free games, and FE8 was one of them. That’s what got me into the franchise, and while I still haven’t finished all the games I’m steadily making progress there. FE3’s next on my docket. Thus far my favorites have been FE8 for nostalgia, FE13 for the game I sunk the most time into, and FE15 for just being a really good time.
Don’t know how active I’ll end up being, but I’m sure I’ll chime in every so often. Happy to be here.
