Hello, fellow Fire Emblem fans!
Since I am a newbie, I thought I should introduce myself. I enjoy all kinds of different types games, and Fire Emblem is no exception. Specifically, I have taken an interest in the GBA games and ROM hacks. Besides Fire Emblem, I also enjoy several other series such as:
- MOTHER
- Metroid
- Final Fantasy
- Half-Life
- Zelda
- Kirby
You name it, and I may have played it. Besides video games, I also enjoy music, art, and TV, but I won’t get into those unless you would like to know.
Now, one more thing to share. I would like to mention that I am working on a ROM hack of my own, which I am calling Fire Emblem '03. It is nothing huge, since I am relatively new to FEBuilder. My project is a simple hack for the Blazing Blade. I won’t get into the details, since I have already implemented many changes. However, here are some things the hack (so far) includes:
- Changes to swords, axes, lances, and tomes
- Restoration of unused content
- Fixing localization errors
- Fixing developer oversights
- Changing some map aesthetics
- Making some characters more viable to use (I do not plan to change growth rates)
- Reverting gameplay changes made to the US version
- Implementing some quality of life patches
- A slight difficulty increase for generic enemies
