Hey, i have downloaded and played a few hacks from my pc which i love, but i would like to use a handheld console to emulate a romhack. Do you have any recommendation for one i could buy?
I’d recommend a Miyoo Mini Plus, or a RG35XX. You can find those on Amazon, or Aliexpress. The former being easier to set up if you’re new to the scene, and the latter being a bit more of an advanced system (Stereo speakers, hdmi out, etc.)

get a nintendo 3DS, a new nintendo 3DS if you want to play PS1 games on the go. the 3DS has lots of great games/ the 3 FE Games already on the system if you are willing to jailbreak it. great little console

I grew up playing fe7 on gameboy advance sp. Having a similar design to this would trigger be amazing. The RG35XX is high on my list

If you got some money to drop on a handheld, the Steam Deck is great. Base model price is $400 USD though, if you’re lucky you can get one for $200 used.
It’s much bulkier and heavier than the other suggestions though. Only recommend if you want to play more than just emulation or just have money to burn.
