[Guide] Designing Your Custom Campaign from Go to Whoa

Designing Your Custom Campaign from Go to Whoa

I’ve often heard from people who want to make a custom campaign but aren’t sure how to get started. Now, of course, the correct answer is: everyone has a different starting point, everyone has different non-negotiables, the process looks different for everyone. But sometimes that just isn’t quite enough direction to taking that first step and Just Making Something.

Hopefully the next-closest to correct answer can be found somewhere within this link.

I cannot recommend this enough! Gives me inspiration to actually work on my fates campaign!

The problem I always run into is that I always get bored of making one game and then end up moving on to another. I have like ~50 projects collecting dust on my hard drive right now!

Idk what to say for anyone else running into that problem. Find a particular project that you keep coming back to that you aren’t burnt out from. The “special one” so to say.

The one good thing that comes from making a crap ton of projects is that you learn what works and what doesn’t. I’m taking a completely different approach to game creation now than when I was making my old project (which was really bad in hindsight )

like i used to be a tim/john but i’m full-on spike/mel now and i wouldn’t have it any other way
