The project that was on this topic is now cancelled.
Reasons being that I had very unfortunate timing when I attempted my first project which made me lose interest in trying to get into FE hacking, and even with this new attempt going great, I’m not sure it would really pay off the way I was expecting.
So since I would just not feel motivated in attempting to work with FE hacking, I’m just going to go back to my other, older gaming forum community with my main account instead.
I still learned some great stuff about romhacking in here that I believe I will be able to use going forward, so thanks all the same friends and have a good one out there! Matthew out.
I’m thinking about it, and I’ll allow them as custom classes, separate from the vanilla monster ones, this way they don’t get mixed up with enemy-only monsters and are easier to implement.
Correct on that, both custom classes and custom weapons are allowed.
For classes, remember to give your promoted ones a class skill each (and 3 promo options).
For weapons, they can be personal or have a rank for others (no infinite uses however).
Question out of curiosity, do you have any intention of returning to the FE7 PME? I know it ended in flames with the incident, but it would be sick to see Atanas’s adventure continue.
Oh yeah so, I think that one topic can be considered abandoned, just no plans on returning.
But perhaps some time after I finish this one, I can try another shot at a second PME of FE7, and if you want I’ll leave one of the lord slots reserved for Atanas to appear again.
@Bord No problem, I’ve made a new list on OP with gameplay changes for other users. And besides Mage Knights, I’ll actually also make both Troubadours and Valkyries be able to equip swords as well. Will you update Elthunder with its stats later?
@MarcusAurelius In order to make it more practical, I’ll turn Wyvern Lords into Dracoknights (like Archanea, equips Lances and Axes). This way Lara can still promote into them as her first choice. Not sure about the other two options however lol, feel free to create them as custom classes.
The Wyvern Rider, Wyvern Lord, and Wyvern Knight classes can remain unchanged in terms of stats, values, and growth rates, with the only difference being the weapons they can use. Specifically, axes instead of lances. However, the Malig Queen class could be considered a completely custom class.
May I confirm that I need to create the Promotion Bonuses and the complete Malig Queen class? Is my submission otherwise complete, or is there anything else that needs to be added?
The bases and, since it’s a promoted class, both the caps and promo bonuses are needed, to confirm what stats you want them to have. Also one class skill for them.
