I’ve commissioned somebody for a private-only ROM hack for FE8 and I made these sprites, and thought they were too metal not to upload. And frankly, given FE8’s subject matter with Fomortiis, the most surprising thing is that it took this long to make a dedicated demon monster for FE ROM hacking.
A unique class called Demon / Archdemon; an axe-wielding giant, well, demon that flies and fights with huge axes. Promotes into Archdemon and gains the ability to use swords. For all intents and purposes, if Gargoyles/Deathgoyles are monsters’ equivalent of Pegasus Knights, this is their equivalent of Wyvern Riders, being statistically a total bruiser. T1 Demon is meant to be an axe user only, but if anyone wants, they can use the T1 Demon Sword sprite I attached.
