Also, decided to re-palette and improve Teelvade’s Brigand riding the Mauthe Doog so it’s a bit easier to use. And, in that same vein, actually made the map animations insertable, or at the very least not have clipping and color problems.
Like last time, includes the same shit:
A set of map animations, standing and moving, that (hopefully) don’t have any clipping problems.
The same 3 animations as the Berserker (Axe, Hand Axe, Fang).
The battle animation uses the same palette order as the Berserker, so it should be reasonably easy to repalette. Probably. Of note is that the hair and lower part of the dog’s fur share color due to palette limitations, but I’m sure that won’t be a super major problem if you work around it.
Go have fun making early game bandit encounters far more interesting with Bandit Cavaliers, Deserters, Mercenaries, Archers and Bandits!
…also, both are now in one dropbox link, since I also store my stuff separately from the Repo. Credit still goes to Teelvade for the cool idea!
i’m out of funny comments, i’m sure you can figure out what this is
(also, the sword’s from default Hector Great Lord, so no need for me to modify the credits notepad doc, so thats nice.)
Edit edit edit - yeah I’m not gonna improve this further. It looks a bit jank against smaller targets (Nuramon’s Villager, most mages not Sages), but what did you expect from a giant mounted class whose sword nearly goes past lots of these thinner targets?
…but I did fix the Brigand on a Mauthe Doog! Please redownload it if you already have - I’ve updated the frames to be shifted back a bit and the swing to be an overhead swipe like the original so it looks less awful. Same problem as the sword and I’ll discuss in a moment on my thread.
Redbean has been making a bunch of touhou portraits and uploading them on his baidu thread for the past few years or so. Recently, he has allowed them to be F2U. So here it is. Characters can range from PC 98, manga only characters, spin-off only characters, and even several fangame OCs. https://drive.google.com/file/d/19zkpLBuEcQyQ64PVPA2DPHD70J69obsc/view?usp=sharing

I can now record audio and such, so I can actually showcase how the animation looks in game now. That’s nice.
Someone asked about the Flail Knight, so I went back to it and realized that I goofed a bunch of the original script and that there was basically 0 resources for it outside of the battle animation. So I fixed that.
Included is obviously the battle animation, which should be essentially free of any previous problems, including having a ranged animation (I recommend just using the Arrow projectile)
Several Flail weapon icons (Iron, Steel, Silver, Killer)
Here are some more portraits from
Spoon_Rythm I added frames for. This time it’s an aged up Guy and Priscilla, with several variations, including them “cosplaying” as other characters. Enjoy! (also sorry in advance if some repalettes are unneccessary, I just felt like doing them)
Adult Guy in FE7, FE8, pale and tanned colors and with Navarre’s palette (he looks like an aged up Pascal from Sword of heaven and earth with this oddly enough):
Adult Priscilla in FE7, FE8, pale and tanned colors and with Elice’s palette (looks similar to her funnily enough)
And as a bonus, I also added more versions of adult Nino, along a version of her with Malicia’s palette:
I think Dragoon should jump anyway.
However, this may not be as big a problem as the former.
The motion of Lyn’s boobs swaying is not in FE7J.
It is in the ROM, but players usually cannot see it because the weapon is set incorrectly.
This is because the motion that should be set on the solecati is set on the durandal.
This bug has been fixed in FE7U.
If you are going to go to the trouble of making an axe motion, I don’t think you should reproduce that bug.
