Map Contest Round 12 reminded me that I was going to release this publicly - introducing FE8 Lava Cave with mountains! Also includes the rocks from Western Isles and a working fog palette (because IS was too lazy to do one). 99.5% compatible with vanilla Lava Cave maps (only the weird fe6 heal floor tile has moved) and uses the same animations.
One day I decided that it was time to add more variety to the generic soldiers seen in Fire Emblem GBA. Sure, they have their charm but what if they dropped their heavy armor in exchange for something more comfortable yet protective?
Hopefully these new recruits can steal the show with their new outfits!
Made an edit of the FE8 female ranger to have a bandana. Only did the bow and unarmed animations because this was all I needed for my own project, but people are welcome to do other weapon types if they so desire. The vanilla Ranger sword animation probably needs an overhaul in and of itself beyond my animating ability, though.
Download link here. Let me know if there are any issues.
Esme (Irving’s mom) from Dark Deity is done and formatted. My first full custom I am posting to FEU.
(the other ones I didn’t end up liking so never posted)
I use “Use magic motion when physical attack hits” Patch to change the hit motion to magic.
However, due to the limitation of this patch, the motion at the time of NO DAMAGE cannot be changed, so this motion will not be displayed at that time.
It is a screwdriver-like motion of Romancing SaGa 3.
I couldn’t reproduce the translucency of the background well, so I’ve made various corrections.
Translucent animation is difficult.
This animation is created in FEditorAdv format because the 1-dot line is important.
When importing from this attached dmp, the palette appears in the upper left corner.
If I import from a txt file, this does not happen.
If I import from a txt file, then export and create a dmp file, and then import that dmp file, this problem does not occur.
import dmp
import txt
Maybe the FEBuilderGBA that you used to use this dmp file is too old.
I’ve been working on Army Animations for 7 months now. I’ve been very busy, so I haven’t been able to finish it.
By the way, I made it based on an idea I got from someone.
These animations are compatible with both FEditor and CSA.
It’s “F2U F2E”, but I’ve done a lot of fine-tuning, so if you edit it too carelessly, you may end up with a mess.
