Hello! I’ve been wanting to post the concepts of a Fan Game that I’m dedicated to making. There’s still stuff that I need to adjust and reanalyze, so most of what’s here is subject to change!
Stupidly short summary of the story(still need to put down stuff for that besides characters):
The story follows the saga of two different individuals. One being a young princess named Farah, and the other being an orphaned mercenary named Haizea.
General gameplay features:
-Two difficulties: Normal and Hard
-Selecting between Haizea and Farah to be the main Lord. The story is basically the same with a few exceptions that change depending on the Lord you select
-Str/Mag split
-Slight overhaul to general FE weapon design
-The addition of knives
-Weapon Triangle changes to be more accuracy focus and doesn’t increase might
-Magic is all one weapon type a la Archenea Saga
-FE17 style weapon ranks where they’re all set and don’t need to be leveled up
-Terrain changes
-Equip items called charms that play a large role in gameplay; equipped charms can’t be traded during a chapter and can be used once per chapter, but their effects last unit the chapter is over. Each unit can equip one charm each
-An Overworld similar to FE13 with additions
-Bases in the overworld where both armies can interact. The interactions would include trading weapons/items and viewing special events if certain units are present/certain criteria is met. Each army will also have it’s own war fund to manage
General goal for my game:
My general goal for this game is to feel like Awakening/Sacred Stones in terms of out of chapter progression. For gameplay, I want it to be decently challenging while at the same time be very rewarding to play. I do want this game to be fairly long, but not excessive so replays won’t feel tedious
