On Chapter 28: The Devil’s Shadow? Yeah there is 1 single Summoner Arcana, yeah. But she does not summon anything, she just uses Eclipse, at least I havent seen her summon anything before I rush to kill her before she manages to land any Eclipse. Why? Is she the problem causing the crash on the next chapter (The Lost Chapter)?
its because Enemy Summoners usually bug the game when they try to summon enemies a second time
Well, thanks for the info, but like I said before, she does not manage to summon anything before I kill her. I tried resetting the chapter 4 times already (with my previous save states that took me back to Chapter 28), and every time, I kill her before she manages to run out of her Eclipse uses. Then, when the next chapter ends, which is a short chapter, is when the crash happens, so I dont see how an enemy during the previous chapter would cause a crash on another future chapter.
How sure are you of this? Because, if you think that is the issue, perhaps…what about my own units? My Sei is a Necromancer and I do summon with her quite often, but it hasnt caused any issues with the game itself or the emulator, until the end of this chapter. And also, not sure if you mean that whenever an enemy summoner tries to summon the second time, the game would crash, because if that’s what you mean, it isnt the case for me.
I should mention that Chapter 28 doesnt really end as in, I run out of turns, or I manage to kill the boss. Around Turn 9-10 I think, an event occurs and iirc (SPOILERS ahead only bc Im not sure if this is supposed to happen regardless of decisions and actions), we get caught and our whole campaign ends and dies out or something. During Chapter 28, the summoner does attack only but she does not crash my game. It crashes once the next chapter ends. Now, down here I will explain the sequence before the crash, which happens in a special chapter I myself do not remember having seen the first time I played this hack, so I will blur for SPOILERS just in case, people:
The chapter called “The Lost Chapter” starts, in which it is explained who the real traitor is. All the shady stuff happening in the background which was orchestrated by this someone who we saw only 2 or 3 times during the entire game before this, perhaps even only once, cant remember, is actually the person who brought the entire catastrophe and war upon the kingdoms. All of this is just a sequence of dialogue and cutscenes, until, you then play as him (which revolted me tbh, I hated this guy and hated having to play as him hahaha), massacring a bunch of soldiers once he reveals his treason. Once you route the entire place, another sequence of dialogue starts in which he explains and just flat out shows how he frames the whole thing on the boss you defeat on Chapter 28. Once this dialogue ends and the screen fades to black, this is when my game fully crashes and sends me a window this weird error with a bunch of letters and numbers saying something like “(Bunch of letters and numbers) not found” or whatever, fully stopping the emulation without closing mGBA altogether when it shows up.
So yeah, I wonder if it really is just me who has experienced this.
is there a secret shop guide to this anywhere?
Where did the music “Traitor’s stigma” originally came from?
It’s an original composition by Mycahel for this hack. The OST download is in the OP.
