So I was browsing through some Awakening fanfic like any upstanding citizen and a fic I saw gave me an interesting idea, what if Robin had been woken up Gangrel and Aversa instead of Chrom and Lissa, because the idea of a Dark Stone/Ecsazach version of Awakening sounds fun to me, even if the Awakening bosses aren’t as memorable compared to the goats of Sacred Stones.
It also made me wonder if any of the normal roster of Awakening characters would still join you…and the only ones I thought of for sure was Tharja aka my wife so…yeah definitely helped me like the idea.
Now obviously this just some silly idea I had in my brain and not anything I’m 100% on making as an FE8 romhack…but still it’s a fun idea to put out there and I wanted to tell someone it before I forget about it.

Yeah Grima Robin would definitely end up being the “Fomortiis path” Gotoh if every villain is getting recruited…including the worst villain in the franchise unfortunately.

Shit good point, I was thinking Anna would still join ya regardless, just pay her a ton of money and you got her. I guess that makes her the Hugh/Farina/Rennac of the hack lol…at least she’d be worth it.

That’d be sick. Grima!Robin would probably be like Chara!Frisk or the Weird Route from Soul Nomad, eventually becoming so evil and powerful all the other villains betray them and die trying to be heroes. Or most of them, anyway. You’d probably still keep a few absolute psychos on your team. I wonder if seeing you oneshot Walhart would put Pheros on your side.
Ooo that would be cool, maybe going down a more eviler path leads to only really having the Grimleal bosses left since the others decide to band together. Essentially Grima!Robin and Validar Vs Everyone else from your army.
Also yeah I was wondering what to do about Walhart and all the bosses associated with him…Pheros would definitely be playable though, my girl deserved way better, her and Mustafa (who would definitely be the Jagen, it just makes sense)
