Yeah, I use MGBA and reading back, it happened to me the same chapter as the first person to mention it.

Nothing, the error doesn’t appear for me.
This is the chapter where Heath and Louise first appear and I don’t see any Mark.
I have used both VBA-M and MGBA and everything works as expected.
Odd. I can try to send my save file, but I don’t know if it’ll help, because I’m a few chapters after that now

No problem, if the error doesn’t persist in other chapters, that’s fine.
This seems strange to me too.
With the previous error in chapter 9, I was able to immediately identify the serious error that was blocking the game and fix it.
If the error disappears as you progress through the story, that’s fine.

Actually, where can I send you the save file? because I’m on part 6, and it’s happening here too, and it’s saying that the save file isn’t a supported file type to send here
edit: I restarted the chapter and Mark’s gone now, so that’s even more weird

But from what I can see from your message, it’s a random error and doesn’t cause any issues with the game, so there’s nothing to worry about.

-the mark mistake happens in part 6 (i think) of the prologue when they are searching for merlinus, he apears in the battlefield as a green unit with this stats and potrait
Hector’s Atlas Axe allows you to one-hit kill any enemy equipped with a sword, so I think it’s fair to balance this with an accuracy of 50% to 61%.
Otherwise, you can easily clear the map of enemies with that axe.
If the axe seems useless to you, don’t use it.
Unfortunately, yes, FE 7 doesn’t allow you to use classes that use both magical and physical weapons.
Mark is inspired by the character from Fire Emblem Awakening, so I wanted to keep this feature even though the game doesn’t allow it.
I’ve already discussed this error with another player.
Try downloading the new version and see if the error persists.
The new version has the same name as the old version, so you don’t need to start a new game, keeping your save file intact.
The error where Mark appears is very random; I’ve tried to emulate this error, but it’s never happened to me, so I don’t know what’s causing it right now.
Simply restart the chapter to fix the error.

Fire Emblem 8: The Fallen Princess was a project I had much more experience with. I paid much more attention to the story, but especially to the gameplay. Obviously, you may or may not like the project, but I’m very satisfied with the final project, so I don’t think I’ll be making any more updates.
Fire Emblem 6: The Royal Army was a sequel to Path of a Hero, where I decided to make several changes to make it more like a classic Fire Emblem. The project needs a rework to make it more polished. I’ll definitely return to it in the future, but for now, I don’t feel like returning to that project.
I’m supposed to work on DLC for all three projects, but I’m not interested in continuing them right now. I’ll see if I can return in the future.
It all depends on whether I’m interested.
I hope you played the new version of Fire Emblem 7 Path of a Hero and enjoyed it.
