Is that so? I just assumed it worked in class lines like sacred stones (ie: the promotion is tied to class, rather than character, so Princes always promote to Master Knight, regardless of if Arden or Azel is the prince)
actually, found out that if you change Finn to a dragon master, he can still promote to duke knight despite already being promoted.
promotions are by character, so characters of the same class, could promote differently.
mages, might promote to mage knight, or they might promote to sage!

According to Oifey these would be his bases as a fighter, so if you end up nerfing his bases a bit, just increase his SPD/SKL growth a bit in return.
I am actually using a hex editor, and due to being a very new to the hacking scene, it may be impossible for me. all I am doing is using the fe4 hack docs by lamia.
however, I will give lex these growths and bases.
