Are you letting the player revisit areas they’ve been to before?
like for grinding?
Like in most jrpgs you can walk between areas
In pokemon you can go north from Route 1 to Viridian City, or you can walk south back to Pallet Town.
In fire emblem, you cannot redo the prologue chapter with Eirika and Seth in the mountains, so in that sense you can never revisit the area.
You have to do things a bit differently if you want to let players freely roam.
