[FE8] Project Jade -- A Sacred Stones Overhaul [2.4 UPDATE!] [COMPLETE]

I think she could use a buff and be the Druid to Saleh’s Sage. Saleh is meant to be the “Pent” of this game so if she’s he’s equal why not. One suggestion I have is since Saleh’s the speedy boy with this growth, make her the skillful gal. Swap their base skl and spd stats and the respective growths to make her his mirror essentially is what i mean

Another suggestion I have is perhaps giving Ross Blue Flame as a personal like his ole man? While Fiery blood absolutely fits him (and Garcia tbh) nobody else has it but Garcia and can’t take advantage of the bonuses. And it’s still fire just blue lmao. Would make for some good father-son chaos, especially in the early game pre army split. Also Erika no have Aether, sadz (unless I’m dumb and didn’t read the documentation/get her to level 15 promo)

Not a bad idea either. Eirika’s army really feels the loss of that extra damage haha. I could make it the Level 10 skill for Journeyman instead of Show-Off.

I think I may have changed Eirika’s skills, I wanted her to be more of a support lord than a combat lord. (Didn’t stop her from being an unstoppable goddess with capped defense in my first run lmaoooo) So Ephraim gets Aether but Eirika I believe gets some Drive skills?

Give them sol and luna respectively Eirkia gets Sol so she has some self-resoration keeping her in the fight longer so she can heal more and Ephraim gets Luna so he does more damage to even generals with his good skill growth it also gives them a nice nod to their braclets where Erika is the Solar one while Ephraim can it get the Lunar one(plus Ephraim gets Moulder the best healer tbh and it wont half his activation rate)

Sol is already a class skill for Heroes
So maybe find a replacement for heroes skill to make Sol wholly unique to Eirika?

Rightful King solves the Aether % problem and I mean…he IS the rightful king lol. It fits.

That’s fair and I understand this philosophy. My only counter is that while support is very much in character for Erika, part of the story is her learning she gotta kick ass too and the girl does have spunk. I feel she can be a solid mix of combat and support with her skills. To be fair most of the skills you gave her I do really like, something about a lord not having Aether tho just makes me sad lol.

Just wanted to throw my hat in for a suggestion i thought it be fun to give both lords the halves of Aether as most lords have it and the idea of them both being halves the other needs to run the kingdom properly made it fun to think they get half of aether to show that :stuck_out_tongue:

I actually REALLY like that idea haha. Imma workshop it. I do like Heroes having Sol but it might be interesting to give it to Eirika and Ephraim.

Edit: actually, Ephraim has the Solar brace and Eirika has the Lunar Brace so would it make more sense to give Eirika Luna and Ephraim Sol? Or is it more symbolic if it’s the opposite?

Just make it a shared skill and you can say the braclets were once worn by the classes that get the skills natrually and passes it down to the next wearer of the bands or because both arent being wore on the same person it gives one half of an ancient skill passed down by the royal family and you can have a talk conversation event near the end of the game where they swap braclets and both get Aether.

Edit:You can swap the names around if ya want or you could go with the symbolic path and do that where a hero who was nothing but a ruffian arena fighter wore the lunar bracelet but still learned the power of the rejuvenating sun even with all the evil he had done and set a new path to save and the great knight who embraced the power of the sun learned a skill of darkness to help save the light once ago

1 Wt Fire tomes. MMHH! My beloved :star_struck:

I kinda like it better if the skills are unique to them. Or at least, not generic class skills. I decided to give heroes Axebreaker instead, and swap around some skills to give Wyvern Knights Savage Blow instead of Luna. But also, Duessel learns Luna, and so I think it could be cool if Duessel keeps Luna, Seth learns Sol, Eirika learns Luna and Ephraim learns Sol lol

Ya you can have them talk near the end of the game where it evolves to Aether showing how they changed in the story and they see eye to eye to finish this

That’s exactly what I was thinking lol

If Seth and Dessuel promote with Erika and Ephraim it be fun to name them Solar/Eclipse Knight when they do promote but you probably have all the slots used up

Seth does promote, but he promotes to a class called Brave Knight. Duessel doesn’t have a promotion. But I do like that idea haha.

Ik that was mostly to say promote Deussel with the squad but at the end you make the choices :3

If I can find a cool enough battle and map sprite for the promoted class, I will lol

Some good ideas. I do push back on it a little bit tho as I don’t like the idea of Hero’s losing Sol just to make it exclusive to Erika when that’s been a Hero class skill standard since forever and just giving her Aether along with Ephiram kills two-birds with one stone and lords with Aether has also been pretty standard for a while now. But I do like the way you both laid it how it could work writing wise within the story. And to add to that I think a good place to do it would be when Erika has that pep talk with L’Archael and Ephriam with Tana after the defense map in Rausten as they both find the resolve to kill the Demon King and give Lyon a proper send off afterward (The name escapes me lol). Ultimately the choice is yours tho and your project your rules. As long as it’s something you’re fine with doing and is fun, no fuss from me.

THAT animation for Tana as a Wyvern Knight what?! MHMM that’s the good stuff right there.
