I never noticed that Vanessa has 8 con now. Prob because I never use her much so I didn’t notice you buffed her con.
Yup, I buffed a lot of the female mounted units’ con because I realized that Vanessa couldn’t rescue Warrior Garcia lmao so I gave them the gender-neutral rescue formula and buffed their con so they didn’t all have 20+ aid lmao
Hello, congrats on the game. I started to play on the earlier versions and only now came back to it, I’ve updated the rom and some of the palettes seem off. Seth’s palette for instance looks like Kent from Fe7. I’m at chapter 13, do the newer versions are no fully compatiblewith the earlier ones?
I messed with Artemis’s palette a bit but Marty’s looks fine to me.
Yeah, I changed Seth’s class from the Silver Knight class to his original Paladin class, so since he’s still in the Silver Knight class on your playthrough, his palette won’t work. Shouldn’t have any other troubles, though. Just a visual thing. When he promotes in Chapter 25 he should have his new sprites and palette.
ahh gotcha. Good deal. Feels nice having a peg that can at least use the iron lance with speed penalty.
My issue with bows in this hack is that there’s no 1-2 range bow. I think either an Innes promotion or him getting a personal 1-2 range bow would be nice considering Innes is a really good unit.
Bows not having 1-2 range is intentional. I might cut back on the number of 1-2 range swords so Swords are mainly locked to 1 range and bows are mainly locked to 2 range. Might make the short bow 1-2 range but make them not buyable. Innes is almost definitely getting a personal 1-2 range bow tho! Just gotta figure out what it should be, when he should get it, and when he should get his promotion haha
I think it’s fine how you have it now tbh. If you want you could give Innes point blank as a personal so he and he alone can have any range but I say keep the short bow as the 1 range bow and the rest as is how you have it currently. Bows don’t need to be 1-2. Archers are SUPPOSED to be distance fighters. I get they suffer on enemy phase a lot in gba games and that annoys people but that’s ok. Every class doesn’t need to be jack of all trades.
Bows and archers are fine the way they are, the game is easy enough as it is, no need to make it easier by giving the fastest range class in the game a way to counterattack at 1 range.
You just have to mind your positioning a bit and youll be all good. My Neimi has not yet suffered any damage ever since I started and now I’m already on Paralogue 5. Just abuse the long bow and always have Colm stick to her and she’ll dodge EVERYTHING.
@darkjaden825698 ok seems like what you were saying is right. The armory in the prep menu is back to normal. I guess it was just disabled, at least for me, from prologue to chap 11 and now it’s back good and with updated inventory.
Yup, should be fixed in the next update and all chapters with preps should have a shop

Are there any plans to change the creature campaign or will there be no tower/ruins at all and just a be a linear story progression?
It’d be cool if there was a tome like elfire or shine for dark magic that gives you 2 wexp it’d be helpful for quickly raising weapon rank.
I kept the tower maps untouched so theoretically the creature campaign could work, but I haven’t tested it. I planned on this just being a linear campaign.
I don’t see the harm in it allowing it. Creature campaign is post-game content in vanilla anyway so it doesn’t interfere with the linear story you’ve already made. And since even tho it’s linear you still unlock the map places as you progress through the story it should still work without breaking anything. There’s no detriment and it’s just post game fun for the player like in vanilla, plus it allows for some use of more if the cast since it’s so big now with your added OC’s.
Right, I just need to see if I can make the tower and ruins appear and enable monster spawns in creature campaign. I had to disable them for the world map events to work properly.
