This is a very simple rom hack from an unashamed Lyn fan that just adds her to FE8. I saw there was a similar patch for FE6 and thought, “Why not FE8?”. There are a few other changes as well, most of which admittedly make the game slightly easier and advantage Lyn in particular. But again, unashamed Lyn fan here.

FEATURES
-Lyn joins your army starting from Chapter 1.
-Lyn promotes via Hero Crest.
-The Mani Katti and Sol Katti have been imported.
-The Sol Katti weighs less now. It is set to drop from a late-game boss.
-A new Lyn-exclusive weapon has been added, the Yami Katti. It has effectiveness against monsters.
-The Mani Katti and Yami Katti are purchasable from a world map shop.
-Lyn has a custom animation when using Audhulma. Credit to SteamingTofu.
-The unused “monster killer” weapons have been made available in a world map shop.
-Wind Sword drops have been added to both routes.
-The unused Juna Fruit and higher end Gems have been made available via some late-game enemy drops.
-Added the “More than 5 supports fix” patch by CirclesEverywhere. Unlimited B Supports, single A support, max of 6 support partners.
NOTES
-Lyn has supports with Eirika, Ephraim, Tana, Joshua, Forde, Innes, and Amelia. She also replaces Eirika and Ephraim’s supports with Forde.
-Lyn has placeholder support dialogue with Eirika, modified from her support with Eliwood, but only has dummy support dialogue with the others.
-No story events have been modified to account for Lyn.
-I had attempted to add Lyn to the NoSplit mod as well, but couldn’t get it to work. No matter which route you assigned Lyn to, she wouldn’t show up. If anyone has an idea of how to fix this, I would appreciate any guidance!
