Hello, recent user here, just coming here after getting stuck at chapter 10 since i refuse to rng manipulate and just gave up, but that was on the hardest mode.

Out of that this has been my favorite rom hack I’ve played, the first 10 chapters are insanely fun to play for me, and im already looking forward to play at a lower difficulty so this is just a thanks for makimg this amazing hack that also got me a bit more familiar with hololive characters.

On chapter 11 my Rushia can’t summon, and zeta didn’t bring peko’s gambit.

Rushias summoning is buggy, works some chapters but not others. You should receive the sword after clearing the chapter!

Thanks, I somewhat figured about the sword, but I was worried I messed something up with the rom when Rushia couldn’t summon so I stopped to come here first. Thanks for the info!

I’m not sure on the specifics of the summon bug but as far as I can tell the most common cause for it happening seems to be deploying Baelz on the same chapter so you might want to try benching her if she is deployed.

Peko’s Gambit shows up in Laplus’ inventory after chapter 11 if she, Zeta and Lui are present

Hello Holoemblem Thread it is I Hatsuru.

With FEE3 coming up showing off some of the changes that are going to PERMEATE through the rework, I am considering changing up my methods from how I made S4S in a much better way.

Mainly, I want to get a much higher playerbase to test the game out and see for themselves what works and what doesn’t. However, I can always default to what I had been doing previously; working on it until release (which shouldn’t be all too time consuming, given the rewrites seem to be at a much more fluid pace than last time).

I feel both of these options have benefits, but I would like to ask for opinions and thoughts on the matter. Of course, it won’t be a 100% confirmed thing, but I want to gauge what everyone thinks before I make a choice

Another “problem” I had on my mind was the lack of different portraits for different bosses that weren’t the actual characters from Holo. How did you feel about each “boss”, if you could call them that?

I mainly avoided adding different portraits due to wanting to focus on the girls, and the girls only. I was afraid of self-inserting, or even one-off characters taking spotlight away from the main cast. After seeing a few playthroughs though I can see and understand why the same portrait used for most no-name bosses can get old for awhile. I would like to hear your thoughts on the matter. Did you prefer a singular portrait for bosses or would you like to see more, dynamic portraits being used if possible?

You’re severely missing out on the chance to put even more references for the bosses (and thus, more potential tor-- gimmicks you can throw on the player’s path. Mhm.)

Also it’s not self-inserting or an intRUsion if you ARE Kazama IRUha now is it WWWWW

How do you plan to handle those bosses? Making them references to Hololive stuff? Stuff from outside Hololive like Ironmouse/Nijisanji/Filian?

I did note that some people would have liked to see more charcter interactions from this certain world. It would probably be a mixture of character references/in-world exposition or worldbuilding

Hey Hatsuru is it okay if I make my changes to the rom? Stuff like balance changes rearranging skills, adjusting stat caps, items that are available in shops. Stuff like that. Idk if you’d be interested because I kinda wanna balance around the idea that your units are stronger but if a single unit dies you restart a chapter in order to experience all the gaiden interactions and stuff. Enemies hit harder but a but a bit lower accuracy. Your units are also stronger but they aren’t invincible. Vast majority of tier 2 classes stat capped at 45. With a few classes having access to increased lv 50 stat caps. More access to the item that lowers your units level items. Reine I want to have better growths but still be an experience theif early game due to her being a tier 3 class and better luck base stats so she is less likely to be crit killed. Roboco I looked into but idk how to adjust her experience gains and I didnt wanna mess with the unit. The usagi queen unit I’m thinking of changing her to be a sword master. Council units are gods in that universe so they are stronger. Enemy mage units hit like a TRUCK but they have slightly lower accuracy. I also want to change item durability because constantly trying to capture enemy units became cumbersome but idk also I want to adjust item stats. S Tier equipment I want to have much higher durability. The blond scientist assistant sword maiden has solid accuracy and speed very useful for applying sleep sword status effect to Cali and Kroni. But she her growths I dont wanna touch but her class I want to give her max stat 50.

Idk if max stat 40 or 45 is better for tier 2 units because you do give a lot of +10 stat increases items when held. And I think players should want to balance their units around a stat cap of 40 combined with these +10 stat increases when held items. So that end game 50 stat caps units are a threat and your units can also match these 50 stats but they also have their unique skill combinations to balance it out. I want sui sei and Amelia to have early game lance breakers because with all enemy units having increased stat caps to 45 I think I read that adjusting stat caps like buffs their current stats making halberdiers even more bulky dangerous more so now because they are just so tanky. And your magic users will most likely still struggle to deal with them. That +4 to resistance when being attacked is a very good skill for them.

But I wanted permission before experimenting. I’ve played through the rom twice now with no unit deaths and all units recruited for those gaiden chapters that are idk I really like them all while listening to holo live clips in the background.

I know that I talked with other people and they like to play like an iron man run where if a unit dies then they just keep playing. There are just so many enemies that the slightly lower accuracy and higher dmg makes it more idk exciting kind of? Because of RNG and the sheer quantity of enemies that 30% hit rate will happen its just a matter of when and if they hit then its really gonna hurt but not always 1 shot them. But the buffs to units plus access to the item that lowers max level will help players that really like an idol to make any unit viable by grinding that unit. And its still all balanced because of class stat caps. So if someone is doing iron man runs they can still get solid replacement units. Also the lower max stat class set up plus access to lowering your units max level makes it so your unit growths technically don’t really matter because the balance is surrounded around the max stat caps. Also your units unlock skills at very specific levels so if you say use a -5 max Level on a level 15 units. Their stats are the same but their level is now 10. Which sounds like only beneficial but you have to remember that some units get really nice skills at lv 18-20 so if you early promote I think you lose access to that skill so your level 10 unit must now train to become level 20. And this means later class promotions what if your unit gets bad rng stat growths in those last 5 levels? Then it mean you more or less wasted items/money and experience you could have used on someone else.

I dont wanna change how many tier 3 promotion items you get but for example Irys I want her to have max 50 stats.

Idk if you’d be interested in trying out the changes I want to make to my copy of the rom hack but I also wanted to ask your permission first.
