In the two games I’ve played, I haven’t felt the need to buy keys for the maps with many chests, in those same maps there are usually enemies that drop them when they die and with the lock picks that Mumei has at the beginning I’ve been enough or I simply steal some from the thieves that are usually in the maps. also is that swords units are minimal at the beginning, Ame, Mumei and Subaru are the only ones and it takes quite a while to get others, if I remember correctly Ayame is obtained in the map 16x or something like that.
Would you happen to know when it happens specifically? You could also send me your .sav in DMs if you’d like and I can help you with that!
That is correct! Guide and 1.8 on Valentines!
It happens right after the short cutscene asking about AZKI when it returns to the map. Idk if it’s technically freezing, it returns to the map and just stays up by the boss playing the idle animations for the characters on screen.
as he/she does for catching the thief in I capitulate 08
How do I prevent Azki from class changing? It became mandatory after clearing the chapter she’s recruited (forgor which one tho)
She has up to 10 dances before she force promotes
Finally finished my first playthrough. I enjoyed my time with it a lot. It was fun almost the whole way through, I did have some issues. For clarity, I played Seiso difficulty ver. 1.7 and did use tools, so take my opinions with a grain of salt if you want. I’ll put my thoughts in a list in no particular order. Some of them may be remedied when the guide releases soon
I think the difficulty spikes a couple of times. Mainly on ch. 10 and ch. 20
I was unable to get some supports that I wanted because they wouldn’t pop. It might be because you cannot get to A rank supports
It feels like the game wants you to use certain units, mainly because leadership stars start growing in later chapters and the swing in hit becomes difficult if you fall to far behind in them. (This might be my lack of experience in Thracia)
Ch. 25x could use a prompt to show where the magic circles are since some are covered by enemies
I love the story and character dynamics. I feel like you can appreciate them even without hololive knowledge
Gaining skills, etc. From supports is also cool and leads to some interesting and different builds for replayability
I couldn’t get some skill scrolls to work on some characters mainly if they already had 5 or 6 skills
Dragon veins need a proper tutorial. Ch 20 would probably been a lot better if i knew what the veins looked like
Having your weapons stolen is funny, but i don’t like how capture is the only way to get them back. Also, it sucks to lose Prf weapons to steal, so maybe prevent those from being taken if possible
The final ch. Is amazing. I played it twice once with a warp skip and once without and i enjoyed both of them
A lot of maps are too big, and made me glad to use save states just so i don’t have to repeat an insanely long chapter from the beginning
Putting the last major shopping section as part of the really really long chapter is annoying. I would prefer it to be it’s own standalone ch. Like FE7 but that may be going to far
Probably an exploit, but i was able to bard spam Watame to level cap by having Azki and Watame perform for each other in one turn. This let me get away with it despite the trap
If you could, maybe add a difficulty that’s even easier for than Seiso, so that more people could experience the story and supports without worry of optimization. This is a really personal thought, but there are probably several hololive fans that want to experience the game, but can’t because the game is on the harder end of Fire Emblem. Not saying hard is bad. I thought the game was fair with it’s difficulty most of the time, but it can be frustrating for people that aren’t good at the genre.
That’s all the things i can think of at the time. This was a truly wonderful experience. A little buggy at times, but fun and enjoyable. You did a great job and thank you for making and continuing to support the game. I’m sure Iroha would be proud of you. Sorry for the wall of text
Suisei also rivals Lui for the highest con of all playable characters in this hack, but her speed growth is slower.
SUI, HOW COME YOU’RE SLOWER THAN SOMEONE IN HEAVY ARMOR.
Tbf Lui is tryna embodiment of a speedy tank type like Fe8 Amelia and Fe10 Meg(though Amelia is not armor knight from beginning). Sui’s speed stat isnt too hard to fix all things consider, and will usually one shot most enemy without needing double.
This honestly. I promoted mumei to assassin, only for Chloe to show up and be way better than her in almost all aspect. A bit of a shame Chloe isnt rogue since her Con was the highest among all the thieves, but damn if 2 movement skill isnt already great.
Moona is diagnosed with Matthis Syndrome. Attacking your own princess? REALLY!? No wonder Pekora calls out her loudly in their recruitment talk.
Well, who said you can’t give Steal+ to Chloe? Though it’s not the best use of the skill, since she’s already packed with several skills, there has to be someone with better use of it…
You know that’s actually a good idea, since Chloe herself isn’t really fighting much anyway. Though my steal+ became lance+4 dmg early on due to the memory issues thing…
^ Yeah. That’s still an issue. Make sure you use the scroll quickly as soon as you find someone who’s good at using it.
Speaking of which, Matsuri’s portrait looks a bit off considering her long neck (particularly egregiously shown if you look at her stat screen. And considering she should’ve been on the shorter side a bit… yeah.
(Ngl I gave Steal+ to Polka and it was hilarious)
I accidentally let my Polka die because I had the Merlinus mindset
Luna is another good user of Blossom skill for those who are still considering who to give the skill to
She has Mag, Spd and Luck growths at base 60%, become 120% with Blossom, as well as 50% to 100% Res, also fixes her bad HP and Skill growth issues
And the funniest thing is, Blossom only halves combat EXP just like how Elite doubles only combat EXP. Staff EXP is unaffected lol.
(Stats are on chapter 13, didn’t use her as much as Miko but like… still good)
Also, in Chapter 13, there’s a secret shop that sells Battle Axe from 1000 (500 if you have silver card or it’s Mumei with the Bargain skill), 3 times cheaper than Silver Axe, and there are some good users of it (Suisei and Noel at least come in mind). It’s just funni when they are just essentially Silver Axes at home.
I didn’t know that blossom worked that way, I usually sell it because I don’t think it’s such a good skill, the enemies already give me little XP, like the spiders on map 20 or the demons that use magic, to cut it in half.
100%, I really wanted to use Lstars but looking back on it now how GBA processes them is not to my liking.
Duly noted, I did put a Journal entry for dragon veins. But I can try to make it much more prevelant!
I really appreciate all your concerns and opinions. Hearing everyone’s different experiences has been a real treat. Thank you for playing and I’m glad you enjoyed it!
So, when is the update and the guides? Today is Valentines
