A visual bug / glitch happens at chapter 10 if you open the throne room door with unlock staff, even more so if the staff user levels up doing so. Not too game-breaking but still worth noting.
Also in chapter 1 if you try to skip Fauna/Mumei’s conversations at the end of enemy turn 1, the screen is black though you can advance through the dialogue as usual.
Regarding Pekora losing Steal, this is because she also was intended to learn Intimidate skill after class change/promoting, regardless of promoting to Assassin or Rogue, which has higher priority and overwrites the supposedly learning Steal (Assassin) or Steal+ (Rogue). Change it to a skill that she starts with, or set the learning level to either level 20 unpromoted or a later level after promoted.

I made it to the final chapter in yabai mode and even my team members that seemed like powerhouses don’t seem to be able to cut it with the enemies stats in this map, so while I was planning to do a second playthrough with the guide anyways, I’ll probably just restart the game on Seiso with the guide
Hi! Just wanted to remark that I’m still working on the character guide (I added Fauna and Mumei’s profiles completely, and then I am going to work on Sora and Suisei).
Speaking of which, I can confirm that Reine gets Bond from A rank support with Fauna, and Mumei gets Frenzy from A rank support with Baelz.
If there are any other support bonuses I’m missing please tell me out.
Also, yes, you can promote Baelz to Bishop, she loses anima rank but it does not lock her out of Anima as long as you had increased her anima wexp (which you probably will). Same thing too for Risu and Shion if they promote to Summoner, also regarding their anima weapon ranks. (This is because Bishop and Summoner both have supposedly 0 anima wexp)
Can assassins open chest and doors like how rogue does? Currently not sure whether to promote mumei to assassin or rogue
no assassins do not have the innate skill to open doors/chests you will still have to bring lockpicks or keys
Having the issue of the game freezing on chapter 8 after the short opening cutscene. I know this has been an ongoing issue, but is there any kind of fix in the meantime? I would rather not abandon my save data if possible.

I recommend you to promote Mumei to assassin, she can come out with good stats for fighting and later on there are better units for rogue.

I do think there’s a solid argument for making her a rogue, namely that she actually gets Steal+ on promotion whereas not all of the others do (though I think that in Pekora’s case that might be a bug).

The thing with steal+, is that it depends on the constitution to steal weapons and Mumei has eight or nine, now I can’t remember well, so she can hardly steal good weapons, and as an assassin she keeps steal, to keep stealing items. On the other hand you can find a steal+ in a chest and teach it to another with better constitution like Suisei or Choco.

No but the argument for mumei rogue is locktouch innit
Like we don’t care about combat I don’t want to lug around 5 convoy slots for chest keys that I keep having to buy and forget to use
And if you get early locktouch mumei that’s a lot more money saved on buying chest keys for the chests that Ru didn’t give us keys for (which is, to say the least, at least two)
