Bug report

After defeating them they revive themselves without weapons
Only way to pass it killing them again

Well, it benefits the player since you get exp again. But I know this isn’t on purpose

So I just ried to play the hack, and immidiately unlock Sigurd after the first labyrinth run. Does that always happens or is that due to my… Stupidity?

I’m currently working on a fix for the miniboss bug (or a way to contextualize it as a feature :~P). So far, it has been tested and confirmed to only happen on enemy phase + only if you haven’t recruited them (beat them during a run + end run or tavern recruit). As you encounter and defeat more minibosses, the bug frequency decreases until you recruit all available minibosses, where you will not encounter this bug anymore.

If you make it to Ch 5 during a run, once you’re back in the hub, there is a chance that a character you haven’t recruited yet will be waiting at the Tavern ready to be recruited. No stupidity required, but I suppose there is a bit of skill required to make it to Ch 5.

Huh? I swear, I literally died at the very first battle, and after it, Sigurd is just there waiting at the tavern.
I just made my character a Myrmidon with a HP Bane, and realized too late I just made thing too hard for myself.

Ah yeah, you’re right. After the first run, no matter what, someone will show up. Then after that, it’ll happen after making it to Ch 5. Forgot I added a couple “first ones free” conditions to some of the rewards.

So after 3/4 hours of playing this fangame, i’m here to give my opinion about this fangame:
He is very good in general but have some minors points to correct:
-Sometimes, the aleatory doesn’t give access to some paths(we can have like a sort of double reward, non intended i think)
-We can’t upgrade the weapon ranks of the other units than Hetja, who doesn’t give the desire to play the other unit directly other than Hetja unless we love that character.
-The balancing isn’t great, some characters like the FE6 character are not great at all if we compare to Marcia of FE9 for example or Hetja (too overpowered, lower his/her/it bases to 45 will be a good idea)
Apart from that, the romhack is very good.

(Just a question, we can’t recruit Yunaka if we beat her?)

What floor of endless mode gives the best title in the stats menu? Currently at 41 and want to know if it’s worth trying to keep going or to stop.

Yerp, Hetja Rogue uses Trickster styled battle animations. Might be changed in next patch, considering giving them access to the new Anima Rogue class instead.

I think you’re talking about the nodes that can accessed from the back. That is intentional. If a chapter’s random pathing layout makes a node inaccessible from the front, it will be open from the back instead. A bit like a bonus optional event.

You can fully level any character’s weapon ranks naturally just doing runs with them. Since weapon rank experience doesn’t reset (unless you specifically play on the mode that resets it), every run is permanent progress toward weapon rank mastery. Taking the “Iron Glove” from the Ch 1 starting shop trinkets (or finding it later on) can speed up that process as well as using Devil weapons.

All of the playable characters that come from a FE game started development with bases/growths from their respective game. The weakest of those characters have received buffs and/or niches, though it is tough competing with characters released ~20 years later. I hope that part of the fun of the game for some people is taking the characters that normally stand no chance against an Ashnard or a Duma and training them through you own design to defeat any evil.

The last Endless Mode related rank is for hitting Ch 99, but other than that title there is no reward.

Ive done it spiderman I beat both normal and Hard mode as Solider lets GOOOOOO.

I didnt even use any teir S skills only teir B and lower skills.

Just came across a bug where I was in one of the final nodes. It was a fighter and I had summoned a fighter of my own.

My fighter landed the killing blow and instead of the chapter ending I was sent back to the opening node with both doors locked and nothing interact with.

I took a screenshot of the state.

Run into a softlock by finishing a battle with an npc. Ending the turn does help tho.

I haven’t played this hack in a while, but the current version is really fun!

I rolled Hetja as a Wyvern Rider, which is a lot better than I remember Bonewalker Hetja being.

I’ve observer two bugs or oddities so far, apologies if these are known issues:

Summary

In the hub area, I noted that suspending and resuming on the fishing island kind of breaks the free movement mechanics. It didn’t prevent me from doing anything though.

In my most recent run with Astrid, I fought Makalov as the Chapter 19 midboss in the first node. His sprite in the labyrinth was a Paladin, but in battle he was a Sentinel.

The hack is still great! I’m excited to try out all the content that’s been introduced since I last played.

I’ll look into this. If the Carriage got sent to the beginning, you could maybe possibly fix this by rerolling the Chapter with the Carriage’s Grimoire ability but I’m not 100% sure about that. (Apparently ending the turn sometimes fixes it?)

I’m glad you’re lovin’ it! Interesting, if ending the turn sometimes fixes it, an event is getting skipped somewhere along the way. Are you playing on Random Growths or Fixed Growths mode?

In what circumstances have you encountered Sophia not being able to use Flux?

FreeMovement can be turned back on after Suspending by ending your turn. It should just go back to normal.

Good catch on the Makalov inconsistency, that should definitely be fixed in the upcoming bugfix patch.

I also forgot to mention, I’ve beaten Yunaka a few times in the Labyrinth but she wasn’t recruited afterwards - she teleports to the top left of the screen instead of to the bottom right with the other recruited bosses. Is there some extra criteria to recruit her?

Random growths. At my current run Im stuck it doesnt skip. But sometimes it did. The error does come pretty often like this.

I just started a run with her and she couldnt do anything. Did nothing special

Well, it’s a moot issue now since she recruited herself at the tavern. :v

I also think I saw Lugh appear twice for talk events in the hub area - I’m assuming that’s not intentional?
