I love chapter 26 so I now did it in just 1 turn… and it accidentally turned into more Yuyu propaganda by only using her to kill all the required enemies while getting spammed with “Again“ staffs.
Hey, using Tactical Nuke Yuyu strat is actually optimal because killing the bosses is not trivial.
What does Zeke’s “courian Legacy” skill do? just want to know if I should give him capped skills prior to his promo or not in repeat playthrough, and the flavour text doesn’t explain it
I’m a casual Fire Emblem enjoyer (in that I play a lot of Fire Emblem games but always on the easiest difficulties). I thought Easy mode would allow for a more laid back experience but it’s been absolutely brutal (I’ve already lost 3 of my 6 first characters I got, and didn’t get any of the chests). I feel like making a single mistake on Easy mode shouldn’t mean a character dies right away, especially a pre-promote.
I understand most people who play these rom hacks are hardcore, so I get it if I’m not the target audience, just wanted to give some feedback in that regard.
TMGC was supposed to be the first English hack I beat, but when I reached 25x, the Chinese version was released. And certainly, I wouldn’t refuse to play in my native language.
After it, I played CotBK. One can see how hacks of Retina evolved. The data design is more meticulous, while some design concepts have been carried forward, such as… returning minibosses. (Btw I love the cat in the closing credits of CotBK.)
TMGC offers diverse skills and items, and successfully helped me learn to use them to play better. Especially in the postgame. And it has many great features, like free movement in interlude chapter, view convoy, base conversations and so on. But I’d better not repeat what was in the OP.
Despite covering some serious topics, it still gives me a heartwarming feeling… or maybe it’s just because I love Terra’s theme? The storyline is standard (positive). If I were to recommend a hack suitable for beginners, it would undoubtedly be an option.
And it has sooo many fanworks. A real feast.
(Trying to think of a closing line to prove I enjoyed the conversation viewer…)
