I can’t give you an exact date yet, but the touch-ups I wanted to do are coming to an end and should be completed by mid to late February. After that, the only thing missing is the translation, which should also take about one to two months.
That’s the story of every long-term artistic pursuit, ah ah !
Good luck with your project and those reworks, the commitment is admirable !
I am back with good news.
I FINALLY finished revising all the chapters and the game is now finished from a content standpoint. All that’s left to do now is the translation, which will also take some time (thanks to the supports), but should be pretty straightforward. Once I have reached a point where I can estimate when I should be finished, I will publish a final final release date and a trailer.
I am incredibly sorry for taking so long, I had a lot of other things going on in my life wich led to me not being able to make progress as fast as I would have liked.
Thank you for your patience, I promise that the game will definitely be released this year.
Little update regarding tomorrow’s release:
Am I finished? - No.
Will the game be released anyway? - Yes.
What’s still missing?
Since I’m not the greatest pixel artist, I haven’t managed to finish the CG images that are displayed in the endgame credits yet. Currently, only the backgrounds of the images are complete.
The game will be released at 11 a.m. CET.
I was just coming to find the release time and you ahead of the game lol. SUPER EXCITED. I mostly care about finished supports, paired endings and story so nothing holding me up. Besides it’’ take me months to get to the endgame anyway lol. I still have playstation 1 games I haven’t beaten haha. So just as excited still. FEE3 looked great!
Excitement!
Sign me up! Can’t wait to dive in. Quick question, Is that the only thing missing? All supports and stuff is completed?
Happy to hear someone actually cares about supports, considering the amount of time they took!
Yes, everything else is completely finished, unless I missed some bugs or something.
Hi, just saw you have both a German and an English version of your hack. Do you recommend one over the other language-wise?
If you understand both, the german version probably is a bit better, since it’s my native language.
And which difficulty would you recommend (for a first playthrough)?
Literally supports are the main reason I got into fire emblem. I feel it’s one of the biggest things that separates it from other tactical rpg games to me. So I will be here for all your supports and I thank you for putting time into them, as so many hacks don’t even bother for some reason.
Good question. The game shouldn’t be that hard, but some chapters might be a bit frustrating on difficult mode, so probably normal mode. Wouldn’t recommend easy mode unless you want to play through the game without much of a challenge.
One more thing, this is also in the ingame credits. If you find any bugs or errors, please report them to me. This can also be minor mistakes, for example, I noticed two little formatting mistakes in the supports this afternoon. I will keep a list of these things and release an update once it gets enough.
Checking in with a second, rest assured the time you put into supports will be valued! Excited for release!
whattt this hack has a german version too?
i’m so gonna play in german then ^^
the stats of the units and maps are are barely unchanged from fe8.
this is just leila from fe7 with colms stats. she’s even got the same name, and so many other characters have names from fe7. nothing much has changed at all really
Is this a prequel to FE7?
