So uh, this happened when trying to check the description of the tusked pin during prep screens. I’m on chapter 1-4. I checked and it only happens when you check it IN the supply. If you check it from a character’s item screen or while trading, it works just fine.

hmm i can’t replicate either of these text issues, are you on mGBA?
as for the supply issue, ik what causes the issue (allotted OAM overflows when checking big descs (4+ lines) in preps) but i thought i fixed it. unfort i have 2 exams this week so i’ll put this back on the bug list and try to fix it later

I’m playing on mobile so that might explain it.
There have also been a couple issues with items having way more uses than they’re meant to. I got a 54 use Green Gem in the fire chapter where you escort the civilians, and the Killer Axe I traded from Noel to Brudet has over 200 uses-

Whats the general consensus (or view from the devs): is this a good time to play the hack, or better to wait until the 3rd Act is done?
Just I think trying to get a handle on how separate each of the Acts is - I know the post says “standalone” but not totally what that means and whether its still great to go now or if I’ll have a better experience playing in 6 months
The end of what’s currently completed in the public patch, yes.
I’d say they’re “standalone” in that they’re relatively isolated from each other and won’t intersect until the final act of the game. Without going into details, I think Act 1 generally functions a bit better in a complete vacuum than Act 2 does. But if you want to experience the story as a more cohesive whole rather than in smaller episodic slices, it might not hurt to wait a bit longer.
That said, the game got a lot of new additions and tweaks in the recent update and we would love some extra eyes to see whether the functions still work and the writing still lands. Feedback is always welcome and helpful.

So I think I sold a weird green gem??? Why did it give me that much gold (not that I’m complaining I guess). For the record it was on the prep screen shop in the last slot.
Just came in from the FEE3. When the title says “COMPLETE”, does it mean that the game is completed or that part 1 and 2 specifically are completed? It is a tad misleading thread title (or I’m an idiot, possibly).

I think part 1 and part 2 are complete with the story. Act 3 has the maps and gameplay complete but ig the story isn’t there rn.
