Has anyone else had trouble with the custom classes causing issues with the animations and text displayed while choosing a branched promotion path? I have tried adding my own custom wyvern class, and when I use an elysian whip to promote, the display for both my custom class and the wyvern knight fail to show. The text also does some weird scrolling. I know my class description for the custom wyvern has 3 lines of text, not sure if thats part of it. Just wondering if there is something obvious I am messing up or missing. Havent been able to find anything in similar topic posts that would help.
Ok I figured out a few things. First, if you are testing this like I was, make sure that you don’t have a weapon equipped that the promoted class doesn’t have animations for. That will keep the unit from displaying. There also seems to be a title size limit, not sure how to adjust where the class gets written on screen for big letters. Also you can’t have a class description with more than 2 lines of text without it autoscrolling. There might be a work around for this but haven’t figured it out yet.
I don’t know if there’s a fix for the title size display, but I just want to point out that this is almost certainly the reason the vanilla game has Wyvern Knights written as “Wyvern Kn.”
