Hey, I think I found another bug, in the Lagdou Ruins if you go to the smithy with a character holding a magvelian ore, then skip the dialogue with the start button, a black screen pops up but you can still select a treasure to make unbreakable as though the menu is still there, the only issue is that it creates a copy of that treasure and does not consume the ore. Afterward, the game goes back to normal as though you used the smithy normally. I mean it is cool that it is a way to give everyone a S-class weapon that doesn’t break, but I don’t think this was intended.

hi, What do I have to do to make the sacred weapons unbreakable?

The blacksmith is located in Lagdou Ruins 1. You will need a magvelian ore for each weapon you want to make unbreakable.

The class list in your OP feels a bit under cooked. How am I meant to know what the difference between Great Lord and Trooper Lord or what Praetir indicated. Like I can guess maybe Trooper Lord gives him bows and a horse? But some listed weapon ranks and movement types at the very least wouldn’t go astray.

Hi, I’d like to report a bug. There’s a weird interaction between the game options Staff/Dance and Sound Effects. Toggling Sound Effects OFF actually disables Staff animations even if the setting specified in Staff/Dance is ON. I’ve attached two GIFs demonstrating this below, one for Sound Effects OFF and another for Sound Effects ON.

On another note, I’m curious how you managed to make the Staff/Dance setting work with the most recent build of Skill System in FEBuilder (20220703). I’ve tried patching a vanilla ROM with FEB Skill System + Staff/Dance setting by 7743. Toggling Staff/Dance animations OFF disables the HP bars added by the FEB Skill System. How did you get around this issue? Thanks.

I’ll forward this issue to 7743. To answer your question, I’m using a custom image for the icons in the hack, not the default one that comes with the skill system.

You can access and change this in the “System Icon” menu of FEBuilder.

You can access and change this in the “System Icon” menu of FEBuilder.

Yes. Though there’s an issue with the icon for the silenced debuff that I have yet to solve.

Thank you. Unfortunately, installing the image didn’t fix the issue. I think you did something else that coincidentally fixed the bug.

I did some investigating and the problem still occurs with only FEB’s latest Skill System installed. If you disable Subtitle Help (the setting that 7743’s Staff/Dance replaces), the HP bars disappear. I think this is a bug with FEB’s Skill System (maybe part of the implementation of HP Bars?). Perhaps 7743 can make use of this information to make a quick fix.

Is there a way to swap skills in this hack or are they like pokemon and you have to give up on one skill to get a new one?

You can have up to 6 skills on a character. At least 2 of those skills cannot be changed, as they’re personal or class skills.

Skills are learned via scrolls. You have to have the skill scroll you want to use on the unit that will learn the skill. If the unit already has 6 skills, it will give you a selection of skills to replace. As stated before, there are certain skills that are unable to be replaced because they’re assigned to the personal skill slot, or they are the class skill.

I think because of the way the scrolls are coded, you’re unable to use them on the world map, you have to use them while playing a map.

Hello, I just finished the Eirika route of this hack. I found it to be a direct upgrade of Sacred Stones in almost every way and had a lot of fun completing it. If I had to make any complaint, it would be that the Praetor class is too strong and invalidates the Paladin and Great Knight class. Having trample immediately upon promotion is kind of crazy. Overall, I had fun, and I’m planning on starting the Ephraim route roon. Thanks for making this hack.

Normal is…well…normal. It is slightly more challenging than vanilla, but shouldn’t feel hard. Hard mode is quite nasty though.

In chapter 7, when you beat the map and Orson comes for you: After the conversation with him ends, you follow him and… Black Screen. Eternal black screen. Can anyone help me?

Edit: Forget it. When black screen comes out, if you restart the rom and choose to resume chapter, the black screen will magically dissapear. What the hell.

In the lagdou ruins, you visit the smithy on the first floor with a character with the weapon you want and a magvelian ore. The smithy is right where you start the map

Hey question, what is the percentage that Cormag comes with +2 to movement? Because first attempt in erika chapter 13 spawned him with that and i forgot that the ranger had vantage scroll… now i can’t seem to find him with +2 to movement again… anyone else found him with said movement boost?

I don’t think that is intentional and honestly I don’t think resetting for something like that is a good idea.

and no, at least not in the way you’d probably want them to. except for HP and current Phase/turn codes, item code explicitly don’t work with many hacks due to changing or expanding the item list, even just doubling the convoy size prevents item codes from working due to how memory is handled.
