It must be an emulator issue, playing 1.3.1 is still fine and should work so you can just play that instead since I’m not sure what causes this.
Is it possible to remove the reset button from menu instead of having it soft lock the game. There is a patch in FE Builder to do that; I tired to apply it myself but it did nothing.
Probably but it’s needed for preparations so I wouldn’t do that even if I could.
Makes scene.
youve got 24th sqd 2 to promo in chapter 2
itll be fine boss dw
I’m loving this FE RomHack game a lot and i’m loving the concept that this is based on an Iron Man of FE where it is a popular challenge in Fire Emblem. I’m on chapter 10 and I lost 2 Fighters in Chapter 2, A Dark Mage from Chapter 6, Female Mage from Chapter 7 and Cavalier at the same chapter I got it from.

I have a question what does RR mean?
Reverse Recruitment, that means the order of the characters you get is inverted, I.E. you recruit the main character last and the last character becomes your main character
thanks for explaining intials can be confusing lol.
Iron Emblem sounds like a truly challenging and unique Fire Emblem hack, especially with its “true ironman” playstyle. The concept of playing with generic units, each as strong as the enemies, really changes how you approach the game, making each decision and each battle much more intense. It’s impressive that you were able to complete this project in just a month with so much support, and it’s clear that a lot of effort went into making this experience memorable. Kudos to you and everyone who contributed! I’m sure fans will enjoy the challenge and the narrative of these “nobodies” navigating a harsh world.
Looking up the names of the songs used in this hack that are shown in the sound room on the internet, I can’t seem to find any of them that aren’t from other fire emblem games.
Did something happen to the hard mode? It was not added back in the dropbox. Or am I missing something?
Just wanted to give my own review of this romhack, after having finished it twice now.
I need to preface that I treated the game as if it was a regular FE game, as the first time I played, I wanted to know what I was getting into chapter by chapter, where reinforcements are, like you would be prepared for any mainline game. Second time playing was a refresher for the true attempt to come, and optimizations.
9/10 hack, getting that out of the way first; the concept has been praised to death, but I’ll beat that dead horse with Ridersbane all day. Generics vs generics is brilliant, with the personal growth of your soldiers feeling like they’re coming into their own as true, distinct people, and every playthrough is unique. No class is useless here, and everyone gets a chance to shine! My personal favorite, even if I haven’t used one to end game just yet, were Knights; it was a treat using WTA and terrain to boost their defense just enough to make a scary 4x2 into a 1x2 and freak me out making a 1x2 into a 5x2 cuz I fucked up! That sort of careful balance is masterful, and I assume had I used a Knight all game, I’d find they’re immeasurably good, if only I could get them past early game hell.
The music is terrific and fits, the map design encourages approaching your own way and presents numerous optional objectives that push you into making potential mistakes, or forgetting the mage is in range of your knight and you get one rounded cuz you really wanted the village but you forgot it was there ![]()

the rewards themselves would piss me off in a normal game of FE, but here they’re genuinely fantastic and highlight items you wouldn’t normally bother using. Back to the Knight, give the man a Pure Water and you’re unholy. Barrier staff actually useful?! Recover?!?!
If I were to give any tips to newcomers, I’d say play the game through as if it were a normal FE to familiarize yourself with the style and such, because it sucks hard to lose all your progress when you don’t see something coming. Additionally, don’t count on prepromotes replacing your early units, as there ARE S rank weapons, and while WEXP is not necessarily tight, you do need to pay attention; even stat screwed units from Chapter 1-9 can still be good by virtue of the S rank weapons so keep that in mind. Money isn’t tight either, but you definitely don’t want to go buying one of everything at each shop, mostly because that leaves you broke for Silver weapons, yes I’m a dumbass. Finally, EXP is on a 15 turn timer, but there are ways to cheese it a bit even on current patch; first, healing exp is not disabled for whatever reason, so you could do what I did and heal grind your first cleric for a juiced up Bishop earlier than intended. Second, get chip damage in wherever you can; if a spare unit can score a hit and chip W/EXP, do it. Thirdly, Thieves are honest to God a solid training project, because they always get 30ish exp from stealing; there are 2 dozen assorted keys and even more droppables or stealable. If possible, have your thief steal even the green items just to level them up, you won’t regret it.
Final tip: DO NOT EARLY PROMOTE. This screwed me over so hard my first playthrough and even while cheating the game and therefore myself, I had an abysmal time bc I promoted at level 12. The promotion gains aren’t good enough to justify the lowered EXP gains, please believe me; wait to promote til like level 17-20, or until it’s absolutely necessary (more movement is king after all).
Last thing I’d like to say; it seems the creator had a sequel that has been taken down, and I’m unclear why. Relic, I write this to you directly; this rom hack was the first one in years that I’ve actually completed, and still has had me coming back for more. It’s the only one I’ve genuinely wanted to run RR on, it’s the only one where I want to use every kind of unit. You’ve created a truly enjoyable and replayable Fire Emblem game, with a unique concept, and masterful execution, and I sincerely hope you continue with these works in some way, or just decide to be creative elsewhere. I love this hack a lot so far, but I’m running into an issue.
After chapter 19, I kill the last boss and get Holy from him, then the screen fades to black and just sits there.
Is chapter 7 bugged? I gained no exp from the bosses and some enemies. Game is hard enough with low stats and growths and punished harder by no exp gain now?
