I went to the download and got version 0-2-2 but when I try to start act 3 it won’t start. Do I have the correct version?

this is the correct version. how are you trying to start act 3

I load up the chapter that says Act 3 check point. and I get the message thats says this is the end of the current content.
it does not move past that
if you’re in act 3 checkpoint that means you’ve played through act 3 already (chapters 15-22). Next release is act 4

What can I say, love being part of an story.
I think the avatar is what’s killing modern day Fire Emblem, I think it was fine in Awakening even though we could have went without it. Corrin, Byleth, Alear, Robin, and kind of Shez are some of the most boring bland lords to date and that is mainly due to the fact that they are Avatars.
I think if a self insert should be inserted it should be in a way that doesn’t affect the story like Mark does.
But again I definitely don’t want one in this rom hack or any future fire emblem release.

I concur everything doesn’t have to be self insert I actually prefer having MC protag be built in. I don’t need to make worthless decisions etc. I have games for that where it works impeccable well like Persona (Thouhg i hate a silent protag), Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Baldur’s Gate 3, Fallout 4 etc. Fire emblem works best for me as just built in narrative you follow along with. The only one I have liked so far story wise is Byleth but at least Alear wasn’t silent

Anyway the hack is good, probably the best presentation I’ve seen out of any romhack, has a really unique “aesthetic” if that makes any sense. Really looking forward to seeing this concluded this was one of the first hacks I’ve ever heard about
