31 chapters is the total amount of all maps in the game, including both routes. You’re getting close to the end if you just beat chapter 11.
Edit: you’ll find the full breakdown right under the download link, mentioned in “Features” While it does say 19 chapters, there’s at least one chapter that you can’t play in a single playthrough because it’s a split. That 19 also includes the cutscene map before the route split, as well as Epilogue and the one where you play as Eligor instead.
“Relaxed” in what sense? More lenient time limits?
I think your late promotions are one of the reason you’re struggling. I usually tell people to promote around lvl 13-15 ball park. There are exceptions to this, of course.
woah man, i totally blew it then. I wouldve promoted way earlier but I was naively going off of that 31 as my “endgame”. Had I read the post right I wouldve seen then 19 and wouldve promoted around chapter 8 when I was struggling bad. So I have about 5 game play maps with my team left?
and Im not sure if any of my criticisms are valid since I played “wrong” by not promoting my units early but I felt as though I had to play perfect in order to beat the maps. Like even 1 minor mistake or not moving enough or moving too much wouldve lead to someone dying or me not meeting the map objective and failing. Again this is on me for not realizing the rout im on is half as long as i thought it was and not promoting.
You’re free to leave criticism. At the end of the day it’s up to me to decide what is valid and what is not, so if you have feedback you can still leave it even if you played “wrong”.
Edit: assuming you’re on chapter 12 now, you also have chapters 13-14 left - and a gaiden chapter if you unlock it - and in addition to those the final chapter(s) are left.
Hello. I just wanted to say I’ve played through the complete route on lunatic and have played up to what’s available on the other route and i gotta say this is definitely one of my favorite hacks. There’s something about the thought that goes into making something so brutal but still fun that I really appreciate. Sometimes the difficulty and amount of planning required to get all the rewards (plus all the xp I can take) in some chapters brings me suffering, but it makes earning the good stuff all the more satisfying for me. I’m excited to see what comes next!
“Brutal, yet satisfying” is the sort of mentality I’ve noticed especially among lunatic mode players. Not to toot my own horn, but that’s not an experience made by accident. Glad to know you’ve enjoyed this hack so much this far!
I just played the chapter7x of the second route, and tried many times to recruit Belphoebe.I have to say it’s exciting under lunatic difficulty, and look forward to future updates.
In addition, I encountered a bug while playing Chapter 5x. when the cleric stood at the gate of the village and healed a berserker with the physic, the game was frozen. I can only kill that berserker.
Guys, I have a question regarding the game. I am in the chapter Gaiden: for an old time sake and there are objects that I cannot steal with Skylar, for example, the black gem. Is there any solution for that?
Hi. Congratulations on this hack of yours.
It is very well done, it looks like a professional job: compelling storyline and excellent character interaction.
But now I come to the matter. Shouldn’t this hack already be complete? I got to the chapter “Those Who Wander” and after the scene you see in the picture the game goes back to the main title. How come? Does this mean that the second path is not yet complete? Alas, don’t tell me I have to start the other path all over again, damn it!
Hi! This hack is not complete quite yet. No, your progress doesn’t reset. Chapters from that point forward are not done yet, therefore you’re booted back to title screen. Once the next chapter is done, you can access it from the world map, where you are now.
So I lost two units to a certain spot spot in chapter 6 the run away route when you start it’s four tiles to the west of the armored unit then another spot a tile east and a tile north I had to restart both times I’m wondering if it’s just me or not
Love this hack a lot, excited for the second route. However, I can’t exit to the world map while in battle preps. I haven’t saved yet but still, holding the L button while in the menu (overviewing the map where you can choose to change formation and such) doesn’t do the trick. Is it a different moment where you need to press L? It worked for the difficulty change.
It should work with your Select button. Are there old instructions still in the game? I thought I caught them all for the latest patch.
The exact time you need to press and hold Select is when you press start to, well, start the map. Not during your battle preparations, but immediately after. You should get the prompt before any other events or first player phase takes place. There are some maps that don’t allow returning to world map.
