The hack map design is pretty good, gameplay wise and aesthetic wise its pretty damn solid. The only problem I’ve found is that enemies tend to have some insanely powerful weaponry in the later parts of the game. In the early game its not as big of a deal but later on there’s enemies like brave bow warriors that can pretty much just ruin things for you. It would be nice if the player could at the very minimum get better weaponry to counter the strong enemies or if they were toned down quite a bit. It doesnt even have to be the enemy stats, just toning down the weaponry on them could be good enough. This normally wouldn’t be a problem but its something that I’ve noticed to be very frequent when I played the hack. Other than that though if some changes were made to the enemies, the difficulty would be really good.
Thanks for the feedback! Was there anything else aside from brave bow warriors that you found troublesome? I’ll check those too while toning down the warriors: I’m willing to reduce the enemy weapon quality especially for Normal mode, and to some degree for Hard, but less so for Lunatic.
There is a bug on chapter No Time to Lose where my game just hangs cuz i think wrong script event??
It should pan camera to Ziofran saying something but in script event it says pan camera to Grismond???
i just skipped event with FEBuilder but back when i 1st played this i had no problems.
thanks for reporting! Did you load from a save state? I did shuffle some character IDs around, which would explain the issue. If you restart the map, do you still get the bug?
No save state, usin 2.0 update, after using resume and restart!
Grismond = 0x29
Ziofran= 0x55
but camera pans to Grismond id
I found the culprit. Thanks for reporting, will be fixed!

enemies like these tend to be really troublesome, he one rounds nearly my entire army outside of avanni (and i think thats because i got lucky with growths) if enemies like these didnt have as many powerful equipment on them it would be way more easier to counter the enemies and be able to play more safely. theres quite a few more moments like these that can be encountered but i dont remember from the top of my head. Im on hard difficulty btw

Enemy Phase 1 on Chapter 12: No Time to Lose the game freezes after this general attacked Emereide who was equipped with an Aura, the general attacked with a Spear.
I am on MGBA.
I believe it might be an issue with the large amount of enemies on the map.
Edit: The game freezes no matter the circumstances.
Edit^2: I tried turning off the battle animations to see if that would fix the freeze, as it was the last thing I hadn’t tried. It still did not work.
Edit 3:
I tried to see what may have been causing the issue inside the rom, and I think I found it.
An event on Turn 2 player phase(Even though I was on enemy phase) has the camera pan to Grismond(On the map) and since he isn’t ever playable, the game freezes up.
Edit 4: Just noticed it was fixed lol.

The F. Heirloom Item displays as having 1 use, instead of being useless.
I have no clue if this is intentional, but I’m reporting it nontheless.
More things:

Camian and Myron don’t display as having talks with each other, yet they do.
You’ll find version 2.01 in the same download link.
This patch:
- Fixes the camera panning bug in No Time to Lose
- Reduces weapon quality / diversity of some enemies
between chapters Making Waves - Final I: Full Circle
Thanks for playing!
Is it just me but when I finished chapter 7x Heart of Darkness, the game could not progress. After the next chapter Those who wander appeared, the game went back to the main title?
That’s what is supposed to happen. Heart of Darkness is the last map of the second route for the time being. Once more maps are complete, you’re able to seamlessly continue from where you left off.
Apologies for the confusion.
I got it. It’s great to have a playable gorgon and she 's kinda cute. Can’t wait to see more of this route.
This is really more of a small nitpick, but I would suggest making it so that for the physical classes, they gain C rank in their secondary weapon type upon promotion, especially seeing as how Brynstrom already gains C rank in swords if you promote him into a hero.
I am mainly making this suggestion as, realistically, what is Hyledd going to do with D rank axes?
Or Brystrom with D rank bows?
And especially Marlow and Avanni with D rank swords, seeing as their physical bulk is too low to justify only using steel tier weaponry.
As well as the shorter length of the hack thanks to the route split, having D rank upon promotion with likely less than half the game left, due to some of these unit’s join times, just isn’t worth it and ultimately feels unfun or unsatisfying in a way.
This is pertaining to something else

I would suggest removing this dancer next to the ballista, the ballista by itself is already very dangerous more than likely shaving a cool 75% off of everyone’s hp besides your armors and maybe Camian. But with the dancer it kills anyone but basically Arston, and since you cannot see this ballista’s range for most of the map, it just ends up being a death trap that is unavoidable.
How do I see what difficulty Im on? i’m 99% sure I picked normal but im on chapter 5 right now and I can’t beat it. Or is the hack just meant to be that hard even on normal?
Since you’re still in early game, you should be able to see the background color of your save file, green being normal, blue being hard and red being lunatic. However, as the chapter title fades you can press and hold Select button to call the difficulty selection menu, and then pick normal and see if that changes anything.
Yeah, this hack is pretty tough even on normal.
I noticed that it’s no longer “The” Eligor’s Spear. What was the story behind the “The”, anyway?
The, as in implying it’s the only one and I thought it sounded cooler
Let’s not talk about how there probably are several cases of “the” in in-game dialogue, or in the title screen…
Version 2.02 is available in the same dl link.
This patch contains text, typo and bug fixes.
Most notably it fixes an issue where an incorrect enemy unit would load in Final II.
Yeah man I’m normal and I’m getting my butt kicked. I usually play FE games on hard and Ive done lunatic runs but this games “normal” mode is by far the hardest ive played. I hate save state abusing but thats how i’ve managed to make it this far. I just beat chapter 11 but my playtime is like over 25 hours, most of it coming from chapter 5 and 8 and even then i couldnt get everything lol.
Most other hacks that are this difficult I would’ve dropped but the map gimmicks are legitimately good and fun to play. Bravo on that account. I just wish it was a little more “relaxed”.
I think a lot of my problems came from me not using my promo items early. I almost always wait to level 20 and since the topic says there’s 31 chapters and i just beat 11 i’m not even halfway through so i think i made the right decision. during this chapter is where most of my units finally promoted with only a few of my core still at level 17-19.
