Hello! I’m very much new here and im super stoked to be working on a personal rom hack. I’m currently working on making an FE7 no diologue or cutscenes hack that would include custom sprites that i’m making of myself with friends and family. I have no idea what I’m doing so any help is appreciated!

For starting out a romhack, especially your first one, I’d highly suggest trying out FEBuilder: FE_Builder_GBA -- If you have any questions, attach report7z
Mess around, the more you use Builder the more you’ll know!
For what you’re doing, you can definitely do it pretty easily in builder.
Send a report7z (or description of your problem if it’s very basic) to #febuilder_help on the discord or… somewhere here if you’re truly stuck.
Thanks so much! Ive been toying around with FE builder and making custom characters is getting easy but erasing events seems to make the game crash super easy… its a project I’m willing to put a lot of time in so thanks for the tips! 
Oop, yeah, erasing events will tend to do that.
I’d recommend looking at how vanilla events work exactly when making your own.
Unfortunately a lot of things in fe7 are ASM/C calls instead of events which does hamper the understanding/readability significantly.
FE8 is a lot more reliant on event commands compared to ASM/Cs than FE7.
