tbh i want pmes to just use vanilla anims
making character palettes is easier when you know what anim to use (plus vanilla anims look better than a lot of the “improved” ones anyway)
its also less work for the dev especially when there’s already custom classes and anims that need to be added in
some do some dont sometimes i just like using different fe types of the same class.

Something that I recently discovered is how in FE7 there is exclusive animations for different units (like Guy and Lucius), and FEBuilder supports implementing new ones that I think I’ll be able to do, so in Trevor’s case I’ll have those animations you posted be exclusive for him.
This way like @CelestiaHeart mentioned, and others also liked it, I’ll not change the animations of the vanilla classes. It really will be much more helpful and practical for me lol.
Only exception is when a specific gendered class doesn’t have vanilla animations: in this case for the moment would be Daedra. Female Paladin is already in vanilla, but Cavaliers is not so, @ItsJustin if you could also upload these animations later on!

Alright, I finished the palettes and also the Trevor Portrait had more than 16 colors, so I changed it so that it only has 16 colors.
I’m admittedly a little confused, an FE7U ROM file has female cavalier in the code (class ID 29) to correspond with female paladin (class ID 2B). Do you just want animations?
EDIT: This should work, no need to overcomplicate things from an animation standpoint.
No problem at all they will work, and it’s that there is the female cavalier coded in, but they don’t have any animations in vanilla, only the female paladin have it (in this case Isadora I believe).
So that’s why I needed just to confirm what animations to implement lol.
I can’t seem to get Trevor’s palettes to work when importing them as images, and that code that you posted is from the ‘Clipboard’ option correct (I figured it out from Ireone’s)? Because it’s also not working, it gets an error message and the palette gets all screwed up.
