Interesting we have two Baron’s. But huh, seems like units that are considered bad in vanilla (archers & 4 move) are used less. Interesting… Not having a Pegasus knight is pretty interesting as well.

Fascinating how these things can go. But I guess these changes help with making the cast more unique, that’s the point of PME’s I guess. Experiencing the same game with different casts and therefore a different feel to your army.

I wonder what weapon types will be heavily or barely seen. Like, how would a chart of all weapon types turn out?

Quite the contrary! For example on Aireth’s Mode @Mintywater’s Reagan that replaces Wil is a very early Buccaneer, there’s more Marauders & Buccaneers in the army later on all Modes, and your Amelia will also be able to wield axes since Barons can wield all four physical weapon types. All good! :star:

Wait. Will my Amelia on eliwood mode start out with exclusive access to both Bows and Axes for a while? To me it seems like that lol (although the hector of this has a axes if I recall correctly so that won’t live for long, right)?

How long will it take before another bow user arrives?

Anyhow I was sorta thinking about the intro.
Maybe the intro can be the aftermath of the story, Zuiho and her mother now living behind the dragon’s gate. Zuiho starting to tell those that already live there the story of how she got here.
Like, I can imagine that some Zuiho’s people live behind the dragon’s gate, sorta being like the dragon’s in vanilla fe7. And as Zuiho and her mother are welcomed into their new home, Zuiho can’t wait to tell the story how they got here and after hyping the story up.

Of course it will be very vague in a way you only truly understand the story once it is done. Like the narrator will be very vague. “A girl and her mother entered a new world. What was seen as the source of danger becoming their new home. Soon they found their people and the girl, being a storyteller at hard, couldn’t wait to tell how she got here.”

“You all are very lucky, as my tale is a long and exciting one. This is a tale of a whole different world, of victory and loss, fighters and mages, love and heartbreak, the best of all of us as well as the worst of all of us.”

“So gather around as I will tell you the story that lead me to joining you today.”

“I wasn’t yet there at the time, but it all started when a girl from the plains found an unconcious tactician on the ground… without knowing, something that will change her life…”

And then we go to the title screen.

And it won’t mention Miku because of the Miku staying with the Eliwood replacement ending. (Unless we want to cut that but I do think that it could be sweet for that lord of bad luck to get his good ending.)

Btw I am thinking about making a portrait for Zuiho’s mother. I feel like she should probably get a portrait of some kind considering she is very important to Zuiho.

Although I am not sure where she will be, maybe shLie can be a portrait only NPC? For that must be space right?

Maybe she can be the Athos of this? I feel like she could be a fit, even if she would be an unique one. I know of the two player unit rule but considering Athos is only for one chapter Athos being a story relevant character could be okay… I think.

Who knows, what is for sure is that I think Zuiho’s mom needs to appear, especially for scenes like Zuiho and Miku finding out that Zuiho’s mother is the origin of her special bloodline, that her mother is indeed special.

I can imagine taking your slot if I need it for the NPC portrait, but I am not sure if a small cameo NPC would fit. I do suppose she can be a small cameo NPC as well as an important character in the plot.

You could make Zuiho’s mother take up Bramimond spot. Cause i could only imagine she’s going to be a major character in the story.

I also had this idea for the Roland replacement be Daimler and Josiah’s sister coming back as a spirit. But that’s only a concept for now.

That is a very good idea. Actually. Even though this is an Athos releated character, I can easily imagine this to be possible. And he even has an own class!

Yeah! Of the Eight Legends: Bramimond, Roland and Durban appear as NPCs with portraits, so you could take one of their slots if you want Zuiho’s Mother to appear @TritraSerpifeu!
To be really honest I’m not sure if giving all of these NPCs to Athos replacer would work out well enough in the end actually, so I think I’ll lift the reservation of these three NPCs!
Now just to be clear, these three NPC slots of the eight legends, they HAVE to be characters with a degree of importance to the story, not just picking random replacers, because of the importance they have in vanilla. But again it’s fine for you to take one of these slots Tritra.
