Hey so uh, i was just messing around with fe7 and wanted to add more quotes for the first part of light, but when i looked in the eventing all that, the event that plays the final quotes is an asm (im pretty sure its the same way with fe8 too but i haven’t messed with that yet lol). i’m not really too sure how to mess with asm’s and all, so uh, can anyone tell me if there’s a simpler way to do it/teach me in a simple way how to just edit it.
also note, i’m not trying to change the quotes, i’m trying to add more lol
if this isn’t topic worthy i’m fine to take it down lol

I’m garbage at ASM, but if you can’t figure it out, you could always use the “if unit is fielded” command, (I forget the exact command, but it’s something like that,) and make the game play a specific bit of dialogue for each character fielded that doesn’t have any in the normal “final quotes” thing.
It’s by no means a perfect solution, but it should work?
