Is there a way to edit a save? I reached Ch. 23 and would like to recruit Getiz instead of Wallace but didn’t reach the requirements. Hoping to either edit levels to do so, or if it’s too late from where I saved, editing Geitz into my roster? Any help or tips are appreciated as I’ve never tried editing a save before. :]

If you’re already at the Wallace version of 23 it’s probably too late to edit the levels, since the check occurs at the end of 22. You can always just pop open FEBuilder and insert him as a blue unit into 23, but you’ll need to restart the chapter in order for the change to take effect.
Listen. It’s complicated, doing a Nuzlocke type thing with a friend where we split the cast and he got Hector, so my Hector is level 1. lol

Oh no not at all! I was just joking back. haha. But also needed to explain why my Hector was level 1. Cus Hector supremacy.
I appreciate the help though. I’ll give it a go. And hopefully not break my save in the process.

Okay I attempted. And seemingly failed. I went to the chapter and used the Unit Placer to add another unit and set it up to be Geitz. But when I loaded my save (restarted the chapter) he still wasn’t on my unit list.
I’m probably going about this wrong. lol
Ah. Did you add him to the enemy arrangement of your particular difficulty?
I added him as one of the blue units like you said. Unsure of difficulty, I should be on Normal since it’s a first playthrough. And I can’t tell where the difficulty setting is in FEBuilder.
So I went to Unit Placement, hit data expansion to add a 14th unit, it gave me an extra Eliwood. Then I edited it to be Geitz.
Since you mention 13 units I assume you put him in the first tab, the one with Eliwood, Lyn etc. I think that section only dictates the spots where player units start. They’re basically placeholders. Easy mistake to make, people do it all the time. If you scroll a bit further down you should see tabs called “Eliwood Arrangement”, Eliwood Arrangement (Hard)", etc. That’s where you want to put him. He should be made selectable in the pre-battle screen then.
If you still have trouble after that you can always just dm me the save file and I can take a look

I’m seeing Enemy Arrangement (Eliwood) and such but not Eliwood Arrangement unfortunately.
Also how do I dm here or do you just go to discord?

Yeah I don’t see a way to dm and discord claims that username doesn’t exist. lol
So do I add Geitz as an enemy unit in the Enemy Arrangement (Eliwood)?

But that should work so hopefully you shouldn’t need to use that.
