I will adjust the spelling.
And I am glad you liked it, I wanted to go for the vibe that once Haru gets to talk to Miku you get to see this side she doesn’t show. In her conversations that isn’t with Miku she is holding back way more.

And yeah, this support really makes me want to use Haru too. The unfortunate part is that she is a level 1 Pegasus Knight. She does have higher growths than average but not by much. I mean she does have C rank weapons instead of D rank as the others mounted units you obtain have.

I think I am going to give her Canto to hint at her special Pegasus and while I am at it. I think I am also going to buff Roshea and give him growth rates equal to lords. Just to make sure these two level 1 trainee projects have something to show their worth other than a C rank.

But yeah. I am really happy with how the support writing is going. This really helps the world greatly. It is sadly just a lot of effort, but one that is surely worth it. I may only do one character with support conversations, but I can ensure that each support conversation is of quality and expanding the world.

I now made a new Battle Conversation for Haru Vs. Dreyfus. This further shows the true side of Haru where she argues with Dreyfus and actually gets some details out of him that the others don’t.

Haru is fairly similar to Dreyfus in a way. Both have an interest in creating and improving life in a way and both have social problems. In another world they may have been on opposites sides, Haru the maniac who wants to replace humanity with androids that lack motivation for war while Dreyfus is the somewhat awkward third wyvern rider who carries wishes of granting man flight he only reveals in his Miku support.
I hope such a parralel is neat especially as you have to use Haru to find it out.

Haru Vs. Dreyfus

Haru: What a pitiful site. You did discover the ability to create Crossbreeds, and yet you are no scientist. A true scientist hates his solutions with a burning passion, challenging them. You just took the first answer without questioning it. You would create eternal peace if there were only Crossbreeds. But you never questioned that, never refined your idea.
Dreyfus: You are wrong Haru. I did improve upon my plan. Dezdana has something I need. She is a master of creating morphs. You don’t really think that it is that simple, do you. As long as humanity in its current from exist they plan to triumph with their mind and emotion. Morphs are capable of providing that. They will ensure that the Crossbreeds cannot be outsmarted.

You saw that Crossbreeds can bring eternal peace and since you don’t think you will ever find a second way you refuse that Crossbreeds may be the wrong path to eternal peace. You are a poor scientist. Go ahead, kill me, you know I’m right.

I also expanded upon Abiba a little. Zuiho’s little magic armor Yandere gets her big talk. A big idea behind her arc was that her ending is actually a really happy one despite Zuiho leaving, this will hint at that.

Abiba Vs. Dreyfus

Abiba: You took Zuiho from me. And you don’t even love her.
Dreyfus: I don’t care whether you love or not, she is needed for the sake of the world. However if you want to see her again, we can fight together.
Abiba: Never. Zuiho wouldn’t have wanted that. Zuiho wants me to live a happy life. I have sinned enough, Aireth, Thorne and everyone else accepted me despite knowing how much of a living risk I was and still am. They have faith that I can become a wonderful women despite me being this mess right now. You are an even bigger mess than me, at least I have the decency to know I will have to clean myself up.

Here is an Anthea Support. This support is kinda all over the place but I still think it works well. The main game easily explores Anthea the least out of the three lords. And while this support is all over the place I hope it will make up for the lack of her main story importance, similar to how Thorne drew the shorter end of the stick. Aireth being the true protagonist really comes with a toll, huh?

Anthea C

Miku: You seem upset, what is it?
Anthea: I have just been thinking about something. About our tactician.
Miku: What do you take issue with?
Anthea: The freedom this position has is concerning. I get that having a single person making the calls ensures that the strategy is unified. But how can I know that the unified strategy doesn’t involve me or someone else dying in a preventable way.
Miku: You are a lord, a lord dying results in tacticians either getting the death penalty or losing their job.
Anthea: I am aware of these executions. I was there. My parents were on an important task and their tactician failed them.
Miku: I see, your concern is that despite our tactician having helped Aireth that you may pay with your life for someone elses failure.
Anthea: I would trust my sister or Thorne with that role. But even if our tactician is the best tactician in the world, I can’t just accept putting my life in the hand of a complete stranger.
Miku: Then leave.
Anthea: I shouldn’t leave, though. That would be even worse.

Miku: Regarding our last conversation, when did your parents die?
Anthea: I think it was when I was 4. My sister was 12 when it happened. Old enough to be at least some sort of Marquess.
Miku: Who was really in charge after your parents died?
Anthea: Not sure. A lot of people advised my sister, Ariel. Out of all the adults I knew it felt like the only ones who didn’t have a greater motive were Knull, my instructor and the chef’s apprentice. Even Madoka who was a great help to my sister wanted to push her vision of the world, good as it may be.
Miku: Your sister must have been very strong to live through that.
Anthea: That is what a lot of people are saying. It is always about how brave she is. I tried my best to be as little work for Ariel as possible. And think of it as you may, I am a pegasus knight who can cast both magic and swing weapons. I am Ariel’s bodyguard, despite her being a powerful baron in her own right.
Miku: Sounds like you are proud of yourself.
Anthea: I like to pretend so. Surrounded by everyone my pain seems so little. I can’t afford to let my inner darkness out. I don’t deserve that.
Miku: Everyone deserves to deal with their issues.
Anthea: I mean I get to fight. That helps me keep my own darkness at bay. And that way I ensure that my darkness never hurts any of my friends.
Miku: And what if this conflict is over and there are no more fights to fight.
Anthea: There is no war that ends all wars. I will always eventually return to the fight. But… you are right… No conflict is better than conflict. I can’t put this selfish desire above my desire for peace.

Anthea: You know cherubian culture very well, don’t you? Can you answer me a question. What did cherubians do in terms of birthday celeberations? Thorne’s birthday is this month and so far I never really made a good birthday present. I try, and I know Thorne appreciates that I try, but he always merely enjoyed that I bother to make him gifts, not the gifts themselves.
Miku: The cherubian birthday is a day about reflection. Reflecting what you didn’t do the previous year with all your friends and family helping you create a plan for the next year. This involves gifts that allow a better next year. Such as climbing equipment or a membership at the local spa. It is a day to celebrate hope and redemption.
Anthea: Huh, didn’t expect that. I think I would have enjoyed such a birthday. At least appreciated it.
Miku: Do you think Thorne would appreciate such a birthday?
Anthea: No. Although, if this conflict ends well, being reminded how much things changed for the better. Thanks for your help on that. I never would have thought of that.
Miku: No problem, always happy how the past can help the future.

I probably won’t use it for Aireth because Aireth changing her design this late into development is strange. But I can imagine using this for Aireth’s daughter similar to how the others have a daughter. I may put her in the scene where the other children appear or I will add a new post credits scene. I will think of something.
Also her looking older implies that she got children way earlier than Thorne and Anthea, unless she will appear in a solo post credits scene, but I am not sure on that.

Anyway. Happy writing! I still have an Ariel support to write and ideas for more text! I enjoy this fleshing out the world stuff greatly. I think I will add in even more battle quotes, maybe some with Marcus. And I can also imagine maybe adding in “Mourn supports” Supports that unlock if two character with five support slots taken loose one of their partners each and then support with each other. They would only have a C support but it could be a neat way to add in more supports and have characters react to friends dying.
Or I add in other small stuff.

Battle quotes for Zoe, the Black Fang leader.

Eustace Vs. Zoe

Zoe: Eustace! Despite us being old friends I can always be surprised by your competence. Fighting on the side of our enemies like that.
Eustace: As much as it pains me to say this, but I won’t return to the Black Fang.
Zoe: But don’t you see? After this battle we can finally return to our former glory. Opening the gate for Dezdana just happened. After helping her through her tantrum we can finally be the Black Fang again.
Eustace: How do I know that you won’t repeat something like this to grow even stronger. A Black Fang lead by you cannot be a honorable Fang, no matter how much you love to pretend so!
Zoe: A shame. I am going to miss you.

Abiba Vs. Zoe

Zoe: I never thought I would fight my painter, Abiba. I still have your painting somewhere.
Abiba: … You remember me?
Zoe: I have something drawn by you in my bed chamber.

I also expanded upon Marcus, the idea behind him being that he is a morph and a going to be traitor but the game doesn’t really follow up on that. So I decided to change that a bit.

Marcus Vs. Norton

Norton: You. I know your secret! Now is your chance!
Marcus: What makes you think you get to command me around. I serve House Pherae and I do so with honor! And besides, it would be better you if you keep your mouth shut for once.
Norton: MARCUS IS A TRAITOR!!! HE WILL BETRAY YOU!!!
Marcus: You really get desperate making up lies when you are surrounded.
Norton: Now we both know that is a lie.
Marcus: You and I, yes. But by the end of the day you won’t be able to further share the truth.

Marcus Ending (Talk with Dezdana in Elysium Ablaze, an alternative to talking to Dezdana with Thorne. You still may not deploy certain units but if you just deploy Thorne and Marcus you should be fine):

Marcus: No, I won’t. Dezdana, would you look into a mirror you would be embarrassed. I understand that you finding out that your dream is impossible is very upsetting. But let me clear with you, this isn’t a you being half spider thing. No one always gets what they want. Do you think Thorne over there or Zoe over there always get what they want? No! They must compromise with fate and creating an even bigger mess after messing up won’t put you in a good position.
Dezdana: But I just found out that it is impossible. It isn’t finding happiness that can be found in a million ways. My dream is to visit a place I have just been told I can’t visit, ever. Please Marcus, tell me what I can do.
Marcus: Start by calming down and stop trying to fight my friends. Get your act together!

Ariel: Anthea often helps out Thorne and Madoka. My guess is that eventually one of them will be heroes great enough to allow to be turned into an emblem ring.
Miku: Not every hero becomes an emblem ring, only those who do deeds worthy of being remembered decades from now qualify. But it isn’t completely impossible, maybe after we do our job today Lumera will deem one of you worthy.
Ariel: Oh my! You might be the only person on the world who doesn’t know the Divine Dragon! Once Lumera died and her daughter Alear took her place the entire world was shocked. But I suppose it makes sense that now that everyone accepted the status quo no one bothered to tell you that.
Miku: Especially since we usually simply refer to her as the Divine Dragon. I only called her by name to see if she died. A lot can happen over 500 years.
Ariel: Did you knew Lumera.
Miku: A little bit, before I was put to sleep I met with a lot of important people to ensure that I don’t just have cherubian knowledge, but knowledge from the entire world. But our meetings weren’t that detailed. It was mostly me copying the data from the Somniel’s library and me cooking traditional cherubian food for Lumera.
Ariel: Is the somniel as pretty as they say?
Miku: I don’t what reputation the somniel has but it is a very pretty place. The highlight is Sommie, the guardian of the Somniel. And of course seeing the emblem rings live there. Talking to every single one of them has been an enourmous joy.
Ariel: Who is your favorite out of these residents. With Lumera, Sommie and the emblem rings it must be a close call.
Miku: It isn’t. My favorite is Nell, the oldest emblem. She truly was born in an unrecognizable age. A distant future of another reality. An enigma that I look forward to being solved eventually. Although I wouldn’t be surprised if that takes one thousand years.
Ariel: So many answers us mortals will never have and yet you will eventually get. Even if, I am a Marquess, I can’t afford to worry about such cosmic issues. I have a girl to defend!
Miku: Do you mean your sister or Anna?

English is not my first language. I wrote both of these conversations very fast back to back in one evening and I think because of that they were written with more typos than usual.
I am someone who loves to improvise and be creative and sometimes ideas I have don’t stick the landing.

I think I am going to rewrite the Haru vs. Dreyfus Conversation.

Haru Vs. Dreyfus

Haru: At long last I get to fight you Dreyfus, you are even more pitiful up close. From scientist to scientist, I despise you. You don’t question your ideas.
Dreyfus: But I do. I do so much to refine my creations. The only reason I work with this shady guild of assasins is because I need cherub guards to cover up the biggest weakness my creastions have, their weakness against bows.
Haru: But what if Crossbreeds aren’t a good way to world peace?
Dreyfus: Then tell me a better path. As long as emotions or desire can lead to war it will lead to war. Every civilization eventually burned down, thus civilization cannot work.
Haru: That is a too simple view on history. Slaves grew less common, racism grew less common, the common man lives like the nobility of eons past.
Dreyfus: And yet wars never stooped.
Haru: But eventually they might and I’d like to give humanity the chance to grow past wars.
Dreyfus: Then you are blinded by your optimism.

I spend way more time writing this one, and I am much more happy with it.

And with the Abiba and Dreyfus battle I think I can correct it like the ChatGPT version did, I like the conversation but yes with better grammar and flow it works better.

And I do know what ChatGPT is, despite being a sci-fi fan and this being sci-fi stuff irl I just never had that big of an interest in using it. I can write well if I take my time doing so. The Haru Miku support had solid grammar. A.I just doesn’t interest me as an artist, because conveying my human vision is very important to me. But using it to check what I write and see how it can be improved is of course reasonable.

Chef is a person who cook food I don’t think you meant for Knull to be a chef’s apprentice. So who is he an apprentice of?

it is Lose not “Loose” look up these 2 words in a dictionary . “I should not Lose Focus” is the right sentence.

I think the conversation flows well grammatically, but thematically, it doesn’t resonate with me. In conversations C through B, I see a clear connection centered on Anthea’s trauma from losing her family due to her parents’ tacticians’ incompetence. This experience has shaped her into a strong, self-reliant woman who is reluctant to burden others with her troubles and prefers not to entrust her life to someone she views as a total stranger and an unknown variable.
With the A support you just totally discarded the exploration of Anthea’s Past Trauma and go with a conversation about Anthea finding a gift for Thorne’s Birthday. I think you should explore Anthea’s Trauma deeper. Miku could help ease her pain and encourage her to trust Yourself more as the team’s Tactician with the belief that He is a competent tactician and he will do everything in his power so that no lives are lost or be put in peril. (Or something like that

You could learn something or two from your own creation @TritraSerpifeu

so help Anthea vocalize and find a solution to her trauma and close it off by forming a deep friendship with Miku.

Aireth’s current portrait is just beautiful. It has that rustic charm fitting of a girl from the countryside who secretly has royal blood. Plus her eye make it seem like she is in deep thought about her life. Not to mention her hair design is wonderful.

I feel like it is unfair for Aerith to have a kid that is not beautiful like her considering Thorne and Anthea’s Children have such cute and nice portraits. Who is Aerith’s Husband to give birth to a girl with such mediocre look I must know so I can stop their union from happening. That is how much I don’t like this new portrait that you are suggesting to be used for Aerith’s Child. You have to fix that portrait in some way for her to have nicer hair and better looking eyes comparable to her mother Aireth. Please Let Her inherit some good looking genes from Aerith. If you do decide to include her in some ending scene please explain to us why in the Cave of Trials that Aerith’s Daughter didn’t show up like with Anthea and Thorne’s Children but it was her Father that show up. Also Reveal to us who Aerith’s Husband is so we have motivation to keep him alive for the Post Credit scene.

The thing with Gia (the name I decided to give the alt Aireth design) is that I decided that in her conversation I mention her to be a “not direct descendant” her scene is way more about Aireth still being admired a century from now on.
It is a post credits scene that simply depicts some other Lorca girl visiting the fields Aireth was eventually buried in and there meeting another Bael who is probably one of Artemis’s descendants and them becoming friends.
Gia even talks about how perfect Aireth was implying that she became a role model to many Sacaen girls such as her.
So I think I ended doing something neat with her. She isn’t Aireth’s daughter but instead someone who exists to showcase how grand her legacy is.

And also yeah. I think I will alter the Anthea A Support to be more about her. Maybe that it has Anthea talking about getting a gift to help Thorne deal with his trauma but Miku talking Anthea into getting such a gift for herself. That I keep the rough structure of the support, but make it more about her.

Also I have no idea who the canon romantic partners of the main trio are. They don’t have supports where they can build a romantic subplot. And I don’t think Miku is Anthea’s or Thorne’s romantic partner. If anything I think Miku and Haru could become a romantic relationship.

In my head I suppose I imagine them meeting the love of their live outside of the war. But I leave these details up to the player. That is just a result of me not really having growing supports as a mechanic outside of Miku.

By the way. I now also decided to change the tacticians canon name to Marlow since that is a gender neutral name and I think that fits the default name of a character who can have both genders. And to further separate Marlow from Mark FE7, as despite having the same role I do think they are separate entities.

So uh yeah. Will do that.

By the way I now started working on Lunatic difficulty since I want to do so and I think having Hard and Lunatic mode makes sense to ensure that the game has replay value, even outside of choosing different characters. You can also play the game again but harder this time. It will be a separate patch, but I think that’s okay.

Excuse me but Anthea is a girl and Miku is an android so there is no way they can have a kid which you made a possibility by having Anthea and Thorne’s Children talk to them in the Cave of Trials. So I think Anthea canon romantic partner should be Thorne.
Aerith’s Partner could be any one really. In FE7 I once thought how fitting it would be If Mark the tactician turn out to be Lyn Future husband instead of the usual suspect being Hector or Eliwood.(Eliwood was meant for Ninian)

As I said I have no “Canon ships” outside of the ships that are set in stone such as Tyche X Mina or Fionn X Vandis.
I don’t care about having a canon ending, while this game has a semi sequel and I even go out of my way to have lore connected to it I feel like having a canon ending sorta ruins a lot lol. There is PROBABLY a “Ending that leads to Lyn’s Bizarre Adventure” but I would hardly call that canon, more so something to speculate on.
Did you know that in the final chapter of Thorne mode Thorne, Anthea and Aireth can die and you won’t game over? That is because I want to allow the player to tell their story, even if it is defeat or having won after the tragic loss of a lord. Fire Emblem is a game about telling your own story just as much as seeing a story and I want to embrace that.

Also because of gameplay stuff whether you are a good person isn’t clear. In theory a player can be a terrible person constantly risking peoples lifes, putting people in situations that get them killed on purpose and just do bad strategic choices.
But, you do still trigger support conversations, so I think I will mention that in Anthea A.

Anthea: Never mind. We are in the middle of combat.
Miku: We talked in the middle of combat before.

Or it is a tactical thing, people who are close to each other are stronger and such our tactician wants us to bond to take advantage of that advantage. A good tactician shall use very advantage they have.

Miku: But what is for sure is that I think it would be best for you if we talk more often. You have lots of thoughts in your mind waiting to be let out for someone to hear. There is no shame in this. I won’t judge you. I will just listen, for you.

Your Writing is so beautiful I shed a tear reading it. I love how Aireth is remembered by her descendants and how she chose her resting place. Becoming one with the fields. I guess People planted a tree near the burial site to mark where she was laid to rest right? How else would Gia know where to look for Aireth Resting place if it was just a regular mound of dirt?
I also love that Artemis and Aerith’s promise with each other was fulfilled by their descendants meeting and becoming friend

You can get a C support in the preperation map and then B in the actual map.
And yeah. I will edit that support chain to be more clear.

“the teachings of analog quitnessence control” is something I invented to explain how dancers who aren’t cherubian can learn the art of refreshing. Considering quintessence is a form of life energy that can be used to create Morphs aka a form of life I think it being able to be used to refresh is something that makes sense.

Oh about the laguz, yeah, I see manaketes as a sub type of Laguz. But this being the only spot in the entire game where they are mentioned is off I admit.

This entire thing is because in the semi sequel “Lyn’s Bizarre Adventure” Anina (a human non cherubian lady) and a male Primarina (a pokémon) are the two refreshers so I want to create a basis for this to be possible. Because else this game only shows cherubians to be able to refresh.

Emblem Rings are Fire Emblem Engage’s big main gimmick. Protagonists of previous fire emblem games are these rings you can wield and then you can summon them and this grants you additional abilities. Considering Alear the Divine Dragon, the protagonist of Fire Emblem Engage is worshipped as she is I also think that “becoming an emblem ring” is a great honor. While in the lore of Fire Emblem Engage these rings origins aren’t explained I think making it such a title of honor felt fitting for this world. Especially as the game has a strange relationship with referencing other games.

This is also why Alear can summon Marth in Aurelia 2017, as a reference to this core mechanic.

But I did decide to add in a new line to the Ariel B support. After the emblem ring is first mentioned I added: “To deserve to fight with the Divine
Dragon for the rest of time…”
As that should at least get the rough idea across earlier even to those that have not played Fire Emblem Engage.

I think I am now done with the script of the game. I now only have to complete my Lunatic mode run. I feel pretty happy with how it ended up.
The game now has a lot of lore holes filled. While yes I could of course expand upon the lore I feel like the game has few glaring questions still left open.

By the way, right now in my lunatic run I am using Reagan longer term for the first time ever and it is a joy. While I don’t I would enjoy lunatic mode if I were a casual player as the developer it feels really satisfying to just master my game as a way to say goodbye to it. Now that I finished the lore and story I am going to finish the game from a challenge perspective.

So in the end the Entire conversation should be:

V.2 Released

Elysium Ablaze is now in its final state with both more from a narrative and lore perspective as well as gameplay perspective.

The biggest change is both Lunatic mode and Miku having supports. So feel free to replay the game or try it for the first time. But I won’t recommend Lunatic mode for the first time as that mode is much less forgiving than Normal mode.

I did some non fire emblem stuff.

This game is a bit on the dificult side due to not having good ways to heal but I think it is short and neat. Starrune is the way to go though if you want to play my previous large game with own lore and a world to sink your teeth into.

Also, I am completely fine with you just voting characters from Elysium Ablaze. This is kind of the idea, doing several polls at once.

By the way. I also released another version as the previous version had a lunatic patch with a stronger final boss that I changed but forgot to save. So I released V.2.0.1

I released a new trailer for Elysium Ablaze:

I wanted to depict a nightmare Aireth may have alongside some dialouge to both give it some context and tease some of the stories themes.
It is something else than I did before but I hope it presents Elysium Ablaze in a more abstract but still fitting way.
