[FE7] [Complete] Elysium Ablaze - A FE7 PME expanded upon [16 Chapters]

Here is actually a support conversations for both Aireth and Josiah that was written by me before being reworked by Taylor. Sadly though, this support conversation goes entirely unused.

A typo I found while reading Miku and Darezin Support:

In their C support
Miku said: Miku: Indeed. Could you perhaps enlight me on some of that drama? Drama that contains vital information in understanding the now?
(It is suppose to be Enlighten Me not Enlight Me

In Miku and Tulli’s C support
Tulli: Exactly! Wow, I am going to need to some time to formulate the questions now that I know I can ask them. Let’s continue this talk later, okay?

(I am going to need some time to formulate the question.) "you don’t need to put another to between going to need and some time "

In Tulli’s B support:
Miku: If you have any follow up questions, you know where I am.( I would write it like this: : If you have any follow up questions, you know where to find me)

In Tulli’s A support:

Miku: Sounds like a solved mystery.(it sound so weird a more natural way would be: " It sounds like the mystery is solved")

Yeah that is all the problem I could find for Darezin and Tulli support with Miku.

I really like in Darezin A support he ask Miku to sing song for him with really funny song’s name which make me think of Hatsune Miku the Virtual Singer

For Tulli and Miku paired ending could you add in these line to reflect Miku Effort to remind Tulli of her past and lost memory by telling her stories of their deeds together in the war and before the war.
“As The War came to an end Miku Decided to travel with Tulli around the world to learn more about what she have miss in the time before she awoke and for Tulli having a traveling companion who does not age and can live for eternity was great. Because now when ever she reincarnate there would be a friend waiting for her to remind her of the memories and adventure they have together.”
Or Something like that I am not good with comming up with dialogue and stories. Sorry. It is entirely up to you if you want to keep the old paired ending stories or add to it. I know you will do what is best for the Hack😉

My personal oppinion is that Aireth and Josiah should not have a support with each other because in this Hack they only just met in the 2nd to last chapter so there is no time to develop their relation this deep. I like @TritraSerpifeu solution for their only meeting in the 2nd to last chapter to be solved in the way that it did(Aerith no longer has the desire for revenge and only need time after this to heal and forgive Josiah. Especially now that Aerith has already got the revenge she wanted against the real culprit that cause the massacre of her family and tribe Josiah’s brother Daimler and see how his only son die in such horrific way

One thing I miss in this review of the Hack is the Fact that:
I didn’t like the Player created Character(From here onward show be referred as Mark) because he start out as a trainee and can only use anima which you already have Aurelia for that role and she start out as a Mage so she only need one promotion item to promote her while Mark have to use 2 promotion item to promote to the strongest magic user class.(Those Promotion Item is Hell expensive so getting one is hard enough)

When promoted the first time he turn in to a shaman with the ability to use both anima and dark magic which at that point Oliver is a much better choice for your team if you want a dark magic user. And when you meet Oliver in Thorne Mode he has a Promotion Seal which he can use immediately to get to the final class Druid from there his stat cap is raised higher than Mark Shaman class which at this point I think you did not have the time to train him to be equal to Oliver.
Finally I feel that having Mark playable is just redundant because of the other characters with the same function already available to you Like Aurelia and Oliver with Mark having a lower stat cap compare to Aurelia and Olive the first time we meet them.

I know you gave us a playable tactican for us to fee like we ourselves are in this story with the other characters. But for me I could never imagine myself as a character in a fantasy world that would be compentant enough to be a tactician. So that is one more reason I don’t like having Mark playable.

Consider this: You are literally playing as a tactician, you are making tactical choices for an army of people. If you can play Fire Emblem, you can be a tactician in the world of Fire Emblem. That is actually what I find so genius about Mark in FE7.

The idea behind playable Mark is immersion. Since your ability to give commands is somewhat magical you do have training as a basic mage. So naturally you can decide to try and follow up on that. It is a horrible idea due to the reasons you laid out, but if you want to play the hero you can. And eventually you will actually become an unit stronger than other mages even though you have a higher price to reach that.
But I do think I should increase the caps of the stats to 10. It is more even while still allowing you to powerlevel yourself a bit, but there is a limit to the madness.
Because with 20 caps in all stats Yourself did become super OP.

Here is an image of me having made Yourself OP.
Having easier to gain levels in the “Trainee class” does that to you.
And then I think the higher promotion price is justified if you can become a level 1 shaman with double digits in all stats.

It is also about expectation you know since you want to make a character that represent the player to be special compare to every other unit when I promoted him the first time to find out if he had special items, class, stat after a promotion or not, I was disappointed to find out Yourself just turn in to another regular shaman and then I can guess that he will become a druid Later that took away the excitement of training my very own self inserted character since I was comparing Yourself with Oliver.

If you can find a special class that also use magic to replace the regular shaman and druid class of Yourself when he promote I think it would make the players feel more excited to discover how OP the Tactician character really is.(The first time I found that he was a tactician class with all new sprite and battle animation I was so ecstatic only to learn that his class will no longer be unique after promotion but will just become a regular Shaman and Regular Druid. That really brought my excitement back to the ground.)
Maybe aside from finding new Custom Mage Classes on the FEU Resource Repository you can also rename the classes to something like this:
1st Trainne Class’s Name become: apprentice tactician
2nd Class after first Promotion: Tactician
3rd Class after the second Promotion: Grand Tactician

But there is something else.
Yourself can still use Anima.
Yourself is not like Ewan who loses his ability to cast Anima if he decided to become a shaman.
This means:
Olivier cannot use Anima.
Aurelia cannot use Dark.
Yourself can use both.
The only other characters who use three weapon types after promotion are lords as such you can become a semi lord using Anima, Dark and Staff. (I know there are the promoted armor units that can use four weapon types but they are an exception to make up for them having low movement.)
I now decided to increase the caps of Tactician to 10 but decrease the growth rates, hopefully resulting in his potential early amazing levels to be less overpowered. Yourself will get way more levels due to after promotion being a level 1 shaman and thus behind the rest of units who would be level 1 promoted after promotion.
And because the first chapter has an Afa’s drops you can just give these to Yourself to put yourself fairly equal to others in terms of growth rates while keeping the advantages of having many levels.

Honestly I don’t want to make yourself the most special person in the world, you are just a person after all. You are a tactician, but you can still become something special if you choose to do so.

it is not so much about the number of type of magic Yourself can use but mostly his class after prmotion being generic Shaman and Druid that irk me

I want to make yourself special because I want myself to be special as contrast to the me of the present which is not special at all

Please let me indulge in my fantasy if only for a moment.

I understand that.
You know. If you want I could do something. It would still be the same from a gameplay perspective, but I can give it special visual animations.

So after you promote once you become a “Immunes”: this will keep the same visuals as the tactician.

And after you promote twice you become a “Legate”:

It will be the same gameplay wise, but if you want to look cool. I guess I can allow that. I also decided to take names from a Roman Legion because I think that is a novel place to take names from.

I now wrote a new ending for the Tulli and Miku:
Miku traveled around the world to expand[.]
her knowledge with Tulli joining sharing[.]
her goal. Even though Tulli did meet her[.]
end from time to time they always meet again.[.]
Miku always invites Tulli to join her once more.

And I wrote the Damhaint Support. I tried to focus on lore stuff and like unanswered questions.

Damhaint C

Damhaint: So you traveled around with Zuiho for over a year. A shame we could not meet with Zuiho among us.
Miku: That is a great shame indeed. Seems like I now met two of the three last cherubians.
Damhaint: Two last cherubians. My sister died last year. She died in the battle of castle Caelin last year. The one where Aireth defeated Shin and Thomas died leading to Aireth becoming the Marquess of Caelin.
Miku: Me and Zuiho were present at that battle. On Aireth’s side.
Damhaint: You mean my daughter fought my sister…
Miku: There are a lot of surprising tragedies in war.
Damhaint: So I could have prevented my sisters death if they met. If Zuiho met Nina beforehand she would have surely talked her into joining. I know that Nina was loyal to Shin, but if she knew she was fighting her niece…
Miku: I am sorry for your loss.
Damhaint: Don’t worry. I accepted Nina’s death, I already lived a year knowing she passed away. I just hate this image in my mind of Zuiho and Nina fighting each other to the death.
Miku: I was at the sidelines back then, I just started going on the battlefield a few weeks ago. So I cannot confirm whether they did end up fighting each other or not.
Damhaint: … We have a battle to fight. I already lost my sister, I can’t loose my daughter too.

Damhaint B

Damhaint: …
Miku: You seem to be lost in thought, is everything alright?
Damhaint: Just been thinking about my life.
Miku: What in particular?
Damhaint: Me, Nina and Zuiho are like royals. People born with a birthright. All of us were born into nothing and yet we almost magically rose to be of importance. I was an idealized prostitute before opening up an orphanage alongside the wife of the Divine Dragon. Nina rose to be a royals retainer, one who would have become Marquess if it wasn’t for Aireth. Zuiho became a kidnapping target, important enough to have a civil war be merely bait to ensure she can be taken. Makes you wonder why there are only three cherubians left.
Miku: I thought you said there were only two left?
Damhaint: Oh my! That just slipped out of my mouth! There is a fourth cherubian. I don’t want to mention him though. Because he is an infant and I want to protect him from this drama.
Miku: Did you have another child?
Damhaint: Nina did. Somehow ended up with the child of a guy named Makalov. I like to see it as a sign of hope. If we all die, at least Makalov II is still out there! I should definetely meet his adopted parents if I ever get the chance to do so. I heard they live in Bern. I know this may sound wrong, but I am happy the Black Fang went to kidnap my sister and not Makalov II.
Miku: There must be some reason why kidnapping Zuiho was the better choice. Males are seen as the lesser gender. While this notion did decrease with time, if you need a cherubian for something deep within cherubian culture you would more likely need a women.
Damhaint: I suppose you are right. At least to be on the save side. The Black Fang doesn’t want to kidnap someone for nothing. I guess I can’t judge them on a tactical level to do what they think is most likely to work. Even if that is kidnapping my daughter. I can hate them for it, of course.
Miku: Of course. They took Zuiho from you.

Damhaint A (Super shallow since to obtain this support you have to kill either Rolf, Aurelia or Eustace so you can get the extra support slot.)

Damhaint: I am sorry Miku but I can’t talk right now. I have to focus. This is the battle that decided whether we save Zuiho or not.
Miku: I completely understand.

Damhaint C support:
Miku: That is a great shame indeed. Seems like I now met two of the three last cherubians (I would phrase it like so: “That’s a real shame. It seems I’ve met two of the last three Cherubians" it sound more natural)

Damhaint B support:
but I am happy the Black Fang went to kidnap my sister and not Makalov II. (Not “my sister” but "my daughter" the one that got kidnap was Zuiho?

I think you should leave Damhaint support at C and B. Please leave out the A support since it doesn’t add anything to the story/or help the player understand anything about the world of Elysium Ablaze.

The A Support will be a secret. As without any of her support partners dying she will only have two support slots and if I add a support for every obtainable rank now it would be weird if you obtain Damhaint A and it is just nothing. That would be inconsistent with every other obtainable support and seem like a bug.

And considering you can only get it in the chapter were you defeat Dreyfus I think it reacting to that makes sense. Like I think it might even be cool, while it isn’t lore it is a support that is fully based on the chapter where you obtain it, something that supports usually don’t have.

But here is a small edited version.

Damhaint: I am sorry Miku but I can’t talk right now. I have to focus. This is the battle that decides whether we save Zuiho or not. I don’t want even more friends of mine to die in this conflict.
Miku: I understand.
Damhaint: But talking to you is a pleasant time. This isn’t because I dislike our chats.
Miku: Of course, it is because we are on a battlefield.
Damhaint: A battlefield that will decide whether I can rescue my daughter or not.

I now acknowledge that to obtain this rank one of Damhaint friends (Rolf, Aurelia or Eustace. All of whom she has a C support with.) must have died and I did expand upon the support a little. Hopefully enough to be a more satisfying secret.

Completely agree… I thought his first class was cool looking but to know he just turns into a generic unit…makes me care less. Also the extremely low caps on him makes it sooooo annoying. I mean we are fighting bosses which twice his stats and we capping at 7…why? Immersion? okay fine, I imagine like an isekai…I am meant to gradually grow stronger yet I am being capped before I even hit 10 in any stat…just to go on and be a generic unit…benched

As I said I now plan to make him have an unique class. Considering that I think you can bows with magic animations maybe I can even make it that instead of dark magic you obtain bows as your second weapon type before obtaining staff in your final promotion.

Being the only bow/magic user is something special only you can do. This would also make you the only physical/staff user.

And I hope increasing the stat caps to 10 lessens the problem.

So yeah, I hope the final version tactician will be way cooler.

Omg after my own heart literally in the story I am writing my main character is an archer mage…and my D&D character is also an archer mage!

Thanks for expanding on Damhaint A support with Miku I think that this is enough to be consider a support conversation the old one was too short.

@TritraSerpifeu you already know who is going to play the new version of the hack.
Thanks Tweetyboy for backing me up on the class promotion of yourself.

LEGATE
Here is the Legate in action.

And here is the Haru support. It is actually probably the longest support. There is a certain contrast here that despite her being the strangest support partner, being basically a joke unit, her support is long and her paired ending is one that shapes the world. I suppose this support is also a taste of me doing what I have been doing with Fire Emblem Engage and Alear but instead with the world of Fire Emblem Fates.

Haru C

Haru: You must be kidding me, right? The cherubian android Miku in the flesh.
Miku: My skin isn’t flesh. Although my skin does resemble flesh greatly. The only part that really doesn’t look realistic is the hatch under my wig.
Haru: Your hair is fake?
Miku: My skin is fake too. I am android as you are aware.
Haru: Now that you brought this topic I wonder, what is “underneath your pants”, as they say.
Miku: Nothing.
Haru: Then that part of your body isn’t realistic as well. Your previous sentence about only your hatch being actively unrealistic was therefore false.
Miku: Okay?
Haru: Interesting reaction. Miku doesn’t care about being presented with an error in her own logic.
Miku: Why do you talk of me in the third person?
Haru: You are an android.
Miku: You are aware that you are the first person that spoke to me like that.
Haru: I am? That must be because I am not from here, I am from Hoshido. Over there Stoneborn and especially Automaton are what formed my perception of artificial humanoids.
Miku: Those two examples aren’t androids. The Stoneborn is a monster and Automaton are controlled puppets.
Haru: Monsters as well as androids are created by humans and show signs typically assigned to the living.
Miku: But monsters are distinctly temporary. This returns to the topic of my flesh. Monsters are made out of quintessence. Monsters are unable to have a corpse. Meanwhile my body is made out of an actual material. Would I die I would have a corpse.
Haru: You have a stellar sense of self. You surpassed my expectations!
Miku: What?
Haru: You are an ancient android and yet you surpassed any android I ever met before.
Miku: Other androids?
Haru: I should tell you about them some other time.
Miku: Please do.

Haru B

Miku: Hello Haru. I would like to learn about other androids.
Haru: Of course! What I am going to refer to as androids are expanded Automaton. A basic automaton is controlled by a mechanist. However as time evolved the automaton improved. They were given sensors so that the one controlling them can control them from inside a bunker. Then patterns were given to them so they can act partly on their own. Eventually they were able to act on their own or based on voice commands. And despite them being designed for warfare their roles were expanded once they became efficent to do so.
Miku: You truly love this topic, don’t you?
Haru: Yes, I’ll admit I get very passionate about this topic. I just want to explain so that you understand why they are much simpler than you. They only know words to furfill their purpose. They are slaves, they don’t know how to argue.
Miku: You could say the same about me. My goal is to obtain and archive knowledge. I just have to be able to live like a human and travel. The reason I argued with you is because making sure that what I’m told isn’t false is an important part if I want to obtain knowledge from all sorts of sources, some of them won’t be truthful due to one reason or another.
Haru: So you are saying you are just like what I described except complex enough to seem human? I wonder what the threshold to count as human is. But if that is true, you cannot be the first android. Cherubians must have made other androids and you are simply the first who is good enough, not the first.
Miku: Cherubians used another word for androids who weren’t human enough, robots.
Haru: That makes sense.
Miku: I am honored to be the first android, the first worthy of a name. Names do really help with attachment. An android without a name can convince you she is real but an android with a name doesn’t have to. That is a slogan I once heard.
Haru: An interesting sentiment. Maybe I shall witness the birth of the second android by Hoshidan hands.
Miku: I would love to witness that.

Haru A

Miku: You build some Automaton robots, didn’t you? You know so much about them, you must have made some of your own.
Haru: I am riding on one.
Pegasus (Doesn’t have a portrait, is out of screen): Neigh
Miku: Your pegasus, what’s her name?
Haru: Her? I am sorry darling, but this isn’t an android, it is a robot.
Pegasus: Blow
Miku: But she fooled me.
She deserves a name, just like I as an android deserves one.
Haru: Okay then, why not. I hearby call my pegasus Tarjani.
Pegasus: Sigh
Haru: Pet You like the sound of this don’t you Tarjani. Looking at you bearing a name, you do feel pretty real if I do say so myself.
Miku: Your powers impress me, you rediscovered what made me possible. I am well aware that you can’t make another human android just yet, but you understand how to make an android. I am certain you will make the second human android, given enough time.
Haru: You truly think so? The great Miku thinks so highly of me?
Miku: I do.
Haru: Wow… I am honored…
Miku: I’d like to join you on whatever you have planned after this conflict.
Haru: I sort of joined a pegasus knight trio. I am a soldier. And besides, I get paid for discovering the world. I could have worse jobs than that.
Miku: But you want to be more than that, don’t you? You deserve more than that.
Haru: I do… I do deserve more… But please, let us start once this conflict is done. Elibe is in danger now, isn’t it? If it were still just this silly civil war, I would run away right here. But we both have a duty, don’t we?
Miku: Indeed. But the night we all go our seperate ways…
Haru: …we shall become gods of life together.

Haru Paired Ending

For a while Miku vanished however two
decades later their names became two of the
most important in both Elibe and Hoshido.
With their androids everyone got access
to servants as if they were of noble blood.

Her title of “Humble Hoshidan” becomes an ironic name when you get this ending.

got to be honest didn’t expect Miku to have a support with Haru, I just did not see the connection between the 2 characters. That was before I read all the support conversations. Good Writing on your part @TritraSerpifeu. For me these support flesh out MIku and Haru as individuals through their shared interest of giving life and meaning to android. I am glad they could both develop their shared interest into something tangible and meaningful in the end. I am especially keen on the subject of The Dialogues because I am a huge fan of the Blade Runner Movies and the question it pose to the audience about the humanity of artificial being. 100 points for the writing.

I really like it makes me want to use Haru more since she is such an interesting Character through her support with Miku.

I can not find a single Grammar/Spelling Mistake with your writing good job!

In this description you call the place Haru is from “Hoshidian” but in paired ending you use “Hoshidan” and “Hoshido” To describe her ethnicity and place of origin so which one is correct?
