New version is up on itch replacing the previous version, so this one can be considered V2
The most critical changes are:
Modes have been locked again, the febuilder tutorial disabler and mode unlock messed up some conditional events, so I decided to keep them. But a save file with all modes unlocked has been provided.
Lyn Hard mode has exclusive changes, like enemy arrangements, equipment and weather.
The Stealing overhaul, Crits giving x2 Atk instead of 3x Dmg.
A core Difference between Eliwood and Hector mode, all exclusive Hector Mode reinforcements have become ambush spawns. While eliwood keeps the āfairā reinforcements.
New Unique Animations by GreenTea, Numaron, Temp, Ultrafenix, Dachi and Redbean implemented for promoted units and bosses (if they had unique animations on the Repo) this is on-going, detailed credits will be posted when all the animations are implemented.
The future plans right now are to implement some more of the repo animations, fix reinforcements in defense maps that stop when the boss is killied (Battle before Dawn and Sands of Time), and implement Eliwood exclusive arrangements for Crazed Beast and The Value of Life.
Edit: Oh I forgot, the Hard Mode slots have been adjusted to be equal to the normal mode slots, the only difference is slightly different positions.

Hey there! I just wanted to say that I literally made an account just to tell you this is my favorite hack Iāve ever played. I never played FE7 and I gotta say, playing on HHM through this lens has been so much fun. I love the difficulty. Itās perfect. I weirdly love that the hitrates of these characters even with the weapon triangle buff are only hitting 80% or so. Iāve put a skill book on my level 20 hector and if hes lucky hes hitting 70% of the time. Youāve done a great job with this hack!
Anyway, Iāve run into a big of a snag that has made it impossible for me to progress any further. On chapter 24, the two fang offensive in HHM, I think one of the event start things is bugged maybe? I load up the map, it goes through the story, I hit start, it asks me to deploy merlinus, I say yes (or no it doesnāt matter it still happens either way), then it goes to the map and shows a bunch of pirates and fliers on the map and begins flashing from them to black over and over. I tried using chatgpt on the start event text file but its solutions didnāt really work. Any idea how to fix this? I REALLY want to finish my playthrough.

Which version of 4 fanged offense is this happening on (that chapter has 2 different versions) ? The mountain map or the town map?
Iāll check and fix that right away.

You can download the new version of the patch from itch. 
In case you want to fix it yourself, the issue was with 2 conditionals and repeated labels, so the second pair of 0xA conditional and label should be change to use 0x10, and the second pair of condition/label that uses 0xB to use 0x11. That fixes the issue.
