There’s hard-hard mode and hard-normal mode when you use the hard mode patch, and maniac-normal and maniac-hard mode with the maniac mode patch.
I am afraid I do not follow. All I know is that I patch a rom to play project ember. Idk what these extra difficulty patches are, never heard of them.

They’re the same. As you can see, there’s both the Hard and Maniac versions on Emblemier Patch-up also.
do you have to patch the hard mode patch on top of a different project ember patch or by hard mode patch do they mean project ember with the hard mode, meaning that would be the only thing you patch the vanilla rom with?
you simply patch the hard mode patch over vanilla fe6
so that gives me project ember hard mode. I suppose its formatted this way because fe6 does not let you chose difficulty right of the bat?
Nah. As MercyPlayz mentioned, there’s hard-hard, hard-normal (in the hard mode patch), and maniac-normal and maniac-hard (in the maniac mode patch), all of which are unlocked from the start.
wait so when they say hard mode patch that unlocks hard normal mode? Whats the difference between hard hard and hard normal?

Hard-hard is for true fire emblem project ember players who can take a lot of rage inducing moments while hard-normal is for a more fair and fit for people who just started playing the hack.
I patched my rom with the hard mode patch and I got to chose from 2 difficulties, normal and hard, so im not sure what hard normal is, maybe its just this one titled normal. Either way, I chose hard and its been quite challening but managable, especially now that the hitrates arent rng garbage
Quick question, I just got Lowen, and I plan to use him… does he have any supports? Do any of the new characters have supports? Debias, Lowen, Guinivere, etc?
