[FE6] BUG: Sage and Druid critical sounds not playing

This is a bug I’ve encountered many times while playing FE6. I haven’t looked into what causes it, but I believe it’s found only in FE6 and was fixed in 7 and 8.

Today I searched for about half an hour and could not find even a single reference to it online. I could have swore I’ve even seen it on others’ streams before, but I can’t find any documentation of it even existing.

If you know of any records of this bug, or can at least vouch that you’ve experienced it yourself, please let me know that I’m not going crazy.

For an example of what I’m talking about, here’s a clip of Oates adding my Raigh to the morgue.

Not a bug, those sound effects simply do not exist in FE6 yet, they are FE7 additions.(Tbh, I knew about the Druid sounds not existing, but I never realized it for sages)

I went to verify with the animation scripts and you’re totally right! There’s nothing to play any sound. Thanks for putting this to rest for me.

Still, its strange that I can’t find anyone mentioning this online. Like it’s so uncannily silent, am I the only one who thought something was wrong?

Even when I first played FE7 back in the day I always thought it was strange that the mages didn’t make any sounds when doing their crits, even after they added the sage and druid sounds.
