I am not going to answer everything that happens with cheats. However, the unnaturally different of each class is a problem I have noticed and neglected. I recall that this was mainly caused by a lack of class IDs to use. I will change this in a future update if I can resolve it (but note that this change may prevent the continued use of saved data).
Would it be possible for Reinkoch to only cast berserk in ch16B after turn 3, since before that recruiting him isnāt an option?
I know the real factor of what you are complaining about. He is not the only one, acting randomly or not is usually frowned upon. An algorithm that decides whether to act or not by probability could be worthwhile if it could be changed to only act every certain number of turns.
In the meantime, Iāll aim to make the above changes, but if itās not possible, I might change his algorithm where he doesnāt do anything until Sara appears.
Btw for anyone playing on maniac mode I have an advise to choose the forest route. The price of items you buy is doubled and only person with Bargain skill is Shannan who is only recruitable in forest route chapter 16B or chapter 21 but only if you go through forest.
I am curious how to acquire Light Magic tome Aura. I only saw enemies using it in arena. I assume it will eventually get added taking consideration for balance and right place/time to acquire it?
I would rec shannam if only there still sdrink in shop, but there no sdrink in store and trainning a weak base and growth unit is just not worth it for me.
If you choose forest route you will get anna with more secret stores access and shooter jake with long range ballista which can make battles easier on maniac difficulty just my two cents on that going coastal you get to keep Lief authority second star, possible kempf, illios, reinh
ard, olwen, misha and amalda and seulf.
@Violet probably the simplest way of dealing with that would be to have Tina steal berserker staff or if you have physically strong unit capture Reinkoch by giving wing ring and or using dancer Lara. Krallion tends to level up very decently and I always promote him to master dragon. Thereās event talk with Selphina in chapter 9 where he gets blade that is effective against magic users.
I tend to stick with forest route. My personal choice because I like more goodies you can steal in route B with Tina staff plus you get Shannan who halves store prices and I donāt arena abuse and always struggle with fatigue because capturing will put extra strain on fatigue on maniac mode. I also like more fighting loptyr guys.
both routes have pros and cons, Iād argue theyāre closer to equal than 1 over the other from multiple runs on each.
I know, but in the event where a player wishes to recruit Reinkoch they donāt have any option but to wait it out, use a thief use or have a thief steal the berserk, and itās likely a player would just reset until they get a favorable outcome instead.
I refrain myself from abusing resets unless something absolutely goes wrong like getting my stuff stolen or unique unit captured and canāt rescue on time. My poor Patricia got kidnapped by Glazus when he moraled up and moved again. Couldnāt saved her. Patricia wasnāt unique enough had to let her go. This chapter 16b is also a place where player should deploy strong magic user with higher mag than reinkoch or ones with magic shield like shiva or lifis after event with safy. I think Saint class gets magic shield too and always save magic holy water which helps for status stave enemy users chapters
A Route can net you:
-Early Bragi Blade access (in B route either you get it after Ishtore is recruited or you get it from the chest in Chp 25 which is 24x). We donāt talk about the Chp 23 one because you miss out on something bigger if you get the Bragi Blade instead.
-Alot of Master Lances + Nihil Manual from Conomore and his army
-Sleuf who when deployed, gives all units 30 exp gain at the end of the map (and 30 exp when not deployed to all other not deployed units)
-If you play smart, early War God Tome from Saias in 17A
-Swordslayer Axe which can be useful against Deadlords and Royalguards with Master Swords
-more Warp staves
So there are pros on both routes here
Can Sleuf be recruited if get Kempf or Ilios or both joined? If I am not mistaken if Olwen was captured in chapter 10 then Kempf moves by himself to talk with Leif and then joins. With Kempf you can recruit Ilios.
No unfortunately Sleuf can only join if both Illios and Kempf are not recruited. You canāt recruit either and then also get Sleuf.
Can Sleuf be used then to recruit Reinhard the brother of Olwen?

Happy Anniversary! Today, August 28th, Japan time, is the day that the Nintendo Power pre-written version of Fire Emblem Thracia 776 was released. Today marks the 25th anniversary since its release.
To commemorate this day, the title image has been updated. I put a modern logo where it used to write āEnglish modeā. The number of years has also been updated.
When I first wrote āEnglish modeā, English was treated as an extra bonus because all the texts hadnāt been fully translated into English yet, but now itās treated on the same level as Japanese so writing āmodeā became as much as inappropriate.
As those of you who have been following this topic know, I have been updating this on an ongoing basis, so there will be no other major update for today. I appreciate your playing, bug reporting, and any other support that has improved the quality over the past year. Thank you so much.
By the way, as usual there is a minor update. I have completed the modification of the process that allows units to act or not based on probability. The following changes have been made with this.
- Changed the action of the Thief on the upper side in Chapter 10 to 1 rest every 3 times.
- Changed Reinkoch in Chapter 16B to act only when the turn is a multiple of 5.
Changed Mooreās subordinates in Chapter 17A to have a 100% action probability. - Changed the Bishop that has Magic Up in Chapter 21 to only act on odd-numbered turns.
- Changed the two Dark Mages placed from the beginning in Chapter 23 to one that only acts on odd-numbered turns, and the other to only act on even-numbered turns.
- And other enemies that were previously acting with probability now stop acting once every few times based on the setting value.
The change of this time is only for the probability determination process of the overall algorithm. Certain algorithms will act or not act with probability, regardless of this change, because some algorithms themselves include probability judgments. For example, Tina in Chapter 12x would be a case. There are other enemies that were designed to act with probability, but I omit them from this description.
These changes are still in the early stages of implementation. In the future, I will try playtesting and make adjustments if I think there is a problem with their behavior. If you play the game and find any enemies behaving strangely, please let me know.
The update also includes the following changes:
- Proofreading of English dialogue in Chapters 4x (by Plague).
- Added branching dialogue if Sara has been dead when Reinkoch talks to Leif in Chapter 16B.
- Fixed remaining HP check process during auto-action (fixed what may be a bug).
- Fixed an issue that only occur in Japanese.
I was thinking of a new ring called the Thief ring based off of the one in Fe4 and it gives the user the Steal command but to nerf it, I would assume a heavy penalty like halved speed should be in place for it. It would be interesting to implement since the other Fe4 rings like the Knight and Recover rings are in Fe5x.
In chapter 23 when Tinney is not recruited by being captured or released, the old man says this and acts as if sheās dead, the same as if a player had defeated her. Is this intentional or should there be additional dialogue there?
Misha has 28 HP in the unhacked game too. In my opinion her former HP shouldnāt be kept.

Comparison between Karin Falcon Knight and Misha Pegasus Master. Similar classes similar HP growth. Karin scored 48 but she starts from a low level and is later promoted. So naturally 48 for Misha who is already promoted when she arrives in 17A is too high. I would shoot for a number 42-44 for Misha HP. The FE game like to follow the rule that units who are already promoted when they join have lower HP but better other stats like magic resistance.

EDIT2:
-Chapter 18 thief initially traveling south to collect body ring gets beat by another theif who spawns on enemy turn 2. The loser thief AI then evaluates to do the escape. Maybe do something so the thief has other activity his potential feels wasted. The only reason for that losing thief I can think of is to have him as backup in case the thief who spawns from the staircase on enemy turn 2 dies.
Summary
-Chapter 18 Friege General guarding the hostages donāt escape the map when he loses his killer lance weapon. I had Parn steal his killer lance and he did not escape during his turn. I can imagine weaponless General holding his post to the death for a great leader like Reinhardt, Saias, Blume, or even Ishtore but not for a scumbag like Gustav.
Summary
-Chapter 18 - The requirement for deployment is 24 in Maniac/Casual mode. I would limit that number. This castle map gets crowded fast with 24. You canāt have many units regenerate the fatigue for more strenuous chapter 19.
EDIT3:
-Chapter 18. The water floor is not water but looks like a wall which canāt be traversable by units who should be able to travel across the water like fliers or berserkers.
