Hmm a “kris” for FE4 could be fun if you got to choose what minor blood they had (as even random nobodies can have minor blood). I would like to see the player getting access to all holy weapons and maybe with certain pairings we can get characters that can actually wield the weapons too

I don’t have any reason to believe that an FE4 remake would be announced. Can I see the supposed evidence for it?
If it does happen though, I think the story and world would be censored… In English. Japanese version would be more likely to keep in the dark elements. I think this because FE4 is on the SNES NSO, and it’s rated A by CERO. The equivalent of E by ESRB. Which means that CERO at least believed that players of all ages are mature enough to handle the dark elements. Not to get to deep into it but the Japanese are generally better about dark and taboo topics than Americans and other English speaking territories.
I see your point, but I personally would rather they developed said characters more than add a new one. While I have never felt like the Avatar characters were “self inserts” as others refer to them, I feel like implementing them too heavily into the plot of a remake can go wrong very easily, like with Kris and FE12.
