A Fire Emblem fan project set in the world of Genealogy of the Holy War, blending its classic story with gameplay mechanics inspired by Berwick Saga, made by SRPG Studio.
I’ve put a lot of work into modifying SRPG Studio’s core systems. So this game offers a fairly unique experience far beyond what SRPG Studio usually delivers.
Most of the story (around 80%) follows Genealogy of the Holy War, though I’ve added a little bit of original content here and there.
One of the key features of the system is its simultaneous turn system, where both sides act at the same time. It also brings in mechanics like shields, mount, invisible enemies, and auto-firing archers—similar to Berwick Saga.
25 playable characters, each with their own unique mechanics on the battlefield.
A wide variety of weapons and skills.
Shield - A key system that plays a major role in combat.
Horses - Can be killed in battle, can be swapped between units, and rare special horses exist.
Low-stat gamepay - Emphasizes skills and equipment, while also helping to reduce the number of benched units.
Approximately 20 hours of playtime.
There’s also an alternate route that diverges from the original—one that brings the story to an end during Gen 1.
About Localization
This project was originally made in Chinese. Since English isn’t my native language, localizing the game has been no small task. I’ve only had the time to translate the gameplay stuff—menus, weapons, items, skills, etc. Please bear with me! I hope to continue polishing the localization when time permits.
Finally, I’ve now translated the game using translation tools, so the story is available in English as well. The quality may be a bit rough, I hope it’s enough for you to understand the game systems and play smoothly.
Hope you enjoy the game.
Update
v1.18
Fixed a crash that could occur when recruit Beowulf.
Adjusted some UI elements to better accommodate English localization.
Played ch1 as a test and really liked it, it really is Berwick (with some understandable compromises) and FE4 mashed together. How does gen 2 work? Or is this just gen 1, based on the chapter count?
Understandable. Do you have any plans to ever tackle gen 2 at some point? Maybe as a separate game with just the subs or somesuch… Amazing work either way, I look forwards to playing more.
Not at the moment — it would be a massive amount of work. I’ll probably focus on the English localization for now. Maybe someday! Really appreciate your support.

This is incredible. I cannot overstate how impressive it is to implement Berwick’s mechanics this closely in SRPG Studio. Can’t wait to play more of it.
Thank you so much for the bug report. I’m sorry that happened.
I’m having trouble reproducing this issue on my end, which means it might be a conditional loading error triggered by specific device specs or memory usage.
Did this happen after a long play session (possible memory leak)? As a workaround, please try saving, fully closing the game, and reloading – that usually forces the animator to re-initialize.
It’s somewhat random, honestly. Sometimes the animations load, and other times they don’t. But I have noticed this seems to happen to thief and swordfighter units on both the enemy and player sides.
Found the cause, talking to Beo with the danger range indicator on will crash the game. For now, just turn it off before talking to Beo. I’ll patch it in a late update.
Unfortunately, I don’t have the capacity right now to take on a full localization. There’s a lot of tedious work involved — text overflow, UI tweaks, bug fixing, etc.
That said, if you’re open to it, I can provide the original text files, we could start with the menus and tutorial first to see how it goes.
