Mind if i post mine w/o a functioning miniportrait for now? The actual sprite is done but i feel like the portrait is going to take a while. Iĺl post it to the thread once its done.

Chibis are actually really easy to make. Easier than frames, IMO.

Make a 64x64 square. Move it into your sprite’s head and shoulders. snapshot that part, then paste it, shrink it to 32x32, clean up the result.

Usually takes me five mins. You don’t need to include chibis imo because they’re really easy. Frames are slightly more annoying, in my opinion.

There are mainly 2 ways to do minimugs: 1 is to resize a good selection of the mug and then cleaning (by cleaning i mean fixing broken outline, simple mouth and giving simple eyes. as well as pixel error). The other way is to splice the mini’s of the mugs used in the main splice. The second one is a lot more time consuming but could lead to a more clean minimug.

I also made a version with the eyes and mouth frames inverted in case someone wanted to do some kind of thing with the eyes (Like sans from Undertale for example)
