hey guys, I updated the top post to organize things a little, I’ve also added splice parts from the few mugs I made. I know it’s not a lot but I plan on making more mugs and updating the splice part png with the different sections on them. You can use these parts to splice your own character, I’ve included the colors each part uses and all of them are f2e ofc (unless there’s any crediting mistakes)
My intention on posting this is to help out newer artist into splicing and hopefully customing smaller parts to make their own characters, I think this step of the art process is a bit limited because realistically most people only splice from vanilla mugs, which while you can obviously make great splices with have their limit, so think of this as an extension to your gallery of mug parts you can splice from. Aside for newer artist I hope it also helps hack creators who might not necessarily be that focused on their portraits, because yknow there’s a lot of parts in making a hack. you can check up on the png on the top post
Okay I spent way too many time on making this one after work lmao. I was messing around sophia and discovered marissa had the same angle. Marissa is like the venom of splicing, her angle is agreeable and her features easy to splice with, however I thought I could put a spin to her hair if I took only the top part, adding onto the back of the neck gives you an interesting hair style, is like a hair in a hair. What I wanted to make here is a non purple of black shaman. I mean we had to mix in purple in there at the end but hey least it’s not the predominant color. As always she’s f2u and f2e. I’ll also update the splice parts png with her hair, necklace and modded idunn body. so wait for that
Headcannon is Étaín, I was thinking of nyx vibes when making her but yknow non jail worthy so I thought I should pick a mythological name

I originally wanted to make an armor knight, but ended up getting paladin vibes. Head canon name is Elisette. Lore wise the reason why she uses a mask is because she comes from a family of nobility which adheres to perfection, I was thinking of making an unmasked portrait which had a cleft lip sometime in the future, clearly not adhering to her family’s standards of perfection.
I’d also like to play the splice game here, she’s made by combining 5 portraits and 1 customed part, can yall guess who was used?
Among the various sects of dark magic, eldrict puppetry has been one which many avoid. The fact is surprising considering the many twisted and morally questionable things dark magic has been associated with.
Even then however perhaps there is a certain hesitation to study and emerge oneself on this particular house of dark magic due to the uncanniness of the very dolls it studies. “Puppetters” are far and few and many of them are hermits travelling the land by their lonesome. One can imagine how a live size puppet can creep people out and lead to isolation. If there are complains of the lives these people lead however not many have been heard, perhaps there’s just too few puppeters on record or, what the few records suggest about these people, that they consider these puppets as their companion.
One passage from ancient scripture read “As I sat across him on the campfire I cannot help but feel a sense of dread, uncannyness even sickness looking upon him and his “companion”. It moved in such a smooth way that one could imagine, be tricked into thinking it was a real life woman, In day time it is almost impossible to see my unintened companion move his fingers to direct its movements but at night it was all but impossible. It takes years upon years of learning and skill for a competent puppetteer to emerge, producing magical strings upon one’s body is easy and many mages can learn this in their first year in magical academy… operating a puppet with them however is a million times harder. One must know every muscle, every tendon and every structure in the human body before one can immitate their movements and even more so in combat. For this, the few schools around the continent which house a place of learning for puppettering has countless different puppets with differing levels of difficulty to operate. The oldest members of these schools however make their own puppets and it’s very rare for a master puppetter to be able to operate their college’s puppet to the same level as they can.
For those who master this school of magic, there lies a great reward however, in exchange of long years of study and social isolation one puppetterr can easily sway the tides of battle. Recon, infiltration, assasination, in field combat, a puppet can hold many things inside of it and with the right master at its finger tips use these tools exceptionally well, a combatan might have a blade or two to deal and keep in mind whilest a puppet might have 6, a buzz saw, arrows, bombs, skewrs and daggers. For such a reason we should be glad of the solitary and rare nature of these individuals. If so comes one day an army of them somehow become organized, well you shall find me in every church and temple known in man kind praying to naga, duma, saint seiros, nemesis and grima all at the same time

Using Leo_link’s legless wyvern I made a new class, wip name is wingtamer I suppose but I hoped to name it a more original class name.
the gif is made up of staff and magic anims and the frames after the black screen are short hair alts, I thought having short hair could be an interesting idea to cement the class identity. I decided on a one shoulder cape as the main thing this class would have. Anyways if anybody’s up to scripting it letme know

I can see this as some sort of promotion for troubadours, and i did a quick search for an apropiate thematic name. The regular promo of troubadours are called valkyries, and in norse mythology they are female holy warriors who serve odin and look for worthy slain warriors to pass them to valhala. So i though, what is the oposite? I searched for a bit and found an interesting answer: Erinyes
Also known as the furies from greek mythology, they are sorta the oposite of valkyries thematically, they come from the equivalent of hell instead of heaven, and look for dead people to punish instead of reward like the valkyries do (Still don’t quote me on this, i’m not very good with mythology and i’m probably missing some extra info).
So there you go, Erinyes as a class name
I think Wing Tamer/Lindwurm is a fine name. Maybe just call it Lindwurm because it’s the Wyvern one in Engage. I’m lame, and I like keeping vanilla class names.
