The game is simple: An artist post a splice, and we have to guess which part they used to make it!

Even if something is posted here, that doesn’t mean it is free to use, even less free to edit, be sure to ask for permission!
A game start when an artist post a splice, multiple games can happen at the same time
The artist must precise how many sprites were used to make the splice, they can also help by providing hints when they want
You can make a guess by either posting the sprites that were used or just say the names if they have one
Custom parts are allowed, makes for a harder challenge!
Splices should only use the vanilla sprites as materials, this is to avoid problems with sprites that are wrongly labelled as F2E [This rule may be removed if everything is going well]
Sprite generator (I can’t remember the name) is allowed, AI is not
I can see Saleh (hair), a villager (eyes and eyebrows), Durban (body), Merlinus (FE7) (mustache), Artur (Also Hair) and Joshua (one of the eyes looks off)

I have no idea for the last one, it’s a wild guess tbh
This splice uses… 5-ish vanilla parts, but I bet my cleanup makes it somewhat hard to guess what parts are used teehee (I think those at discord who saw her progress could have an advantage oof-)
I got a question, if my portrait uses parts of another ones portrait with permission but is otherwise made mostly by myself (with a few touchups from my friends), does that mean I can post it or shouldn’t? And if yes, should I specify which parts I have taken?
the bottom line is, if everyone that took part in making that splice is fine with you using it however you want, then there should be no problem with you posting it here.
but the main problem here is that what you want to do is in conflict with this rule:
Given the size of the contest, I think we can operate here on a per case basis.
Now this rule was made with the hope that it would be removed one day, and since you have the permission to use it, we can try to see if it works! (But the splice shall be removed if it uses parts that weren’t F2E)
All that to say: Yes you can post it. (please credit everyone involved with the splice if you do so) But be mindful about how you want to present it, you want people to be able to guess which sprites were used after all.
Also, the rules that I have set here are to make sure everyone is able to enjoy the contest without having to face unexpected inconveniences. They are not set in stone and may change if the need comes to be.
