Calculation Manipulation is a FE8U submission; apply .ups patch to the appropriate ROM. Credits can be found in the download link.
Calculation Manipulation is a chapter that mostly revolves around one gimmick: the Control Staff. This is a staff that lets you affect combat by changing the AS threshold, adding extra damage, and/or adding/subtracting to Hit. There’s a few other new items and some additional QoL, as well as multiple difficulties to choose from. If you’re not sure what to play on, I recommend Normal.

The Boersgard Academy of Arcane Studies is the greatest school of magic in the land. Its Orthodox Mages have surpassed all rivals, and its dominion over education and sorcery now goes nigh-unchallenged - save for a few angry outcasts (and Bjorn), banding together for a chance at revenge by stealing the Academy’s greatest treasures.
In The Spellthieves, you lead a varied band of spellcasters from widely varied traditions (and Bjorn). Each one, however, casts their magic in a fundamentally different method. To escape the wrath of the Academy, you’ll need to master the skillsets and spell lists of all these thieves, and manage their tenuous allegiances to the cause - before time runs out.

Download the initial release version here. To play The Spellthieves, simply extract the .zip file and run double_click_to_play.bat

Note: As of April 14, I’ve slightly updated the link. The only changes in this version compared to the initial release are fixing a game-crashing bug, as well as correcting a slight omission in the Credits.txt
document.
I’m excited to finally put this chapter out into the world after over a month of work, and to see what a wider audience thinks of it - and of the many other amazing hacks and fangames people have made for the CELICA contest.

Fire Emblem: Crowns, Thrones and Rebellion
This is my entry for ‘CELICA’.
You play as an army consisting of generics (Who are just resources) and commanders (Who are story characters).
The story is about a prince who decides to organize a peasant revolt against his tyrannical father. It’s a prequel to ‘Crowns and Thrones’.

soldier,militia and character unit don’t gain exp after battle
but healer unit do gain exp. Why?

About easy mode: Enemies don’t actually become weaker, that’s all as far as I know.
About exp: It is intentional. The healer still gains exp because I couldn’t figure out how to disable exp gained from staves.

Welcome to the Net Arena, where the rules of combat are a little different than what we are used to. Think of it like everyone’s an archer between some walls. But there are some classes that can ignore that approach.
If you’ve ever played Megaman Battle Network, you’ll understand how this works. Don’t expect world spanning plots though.
This is my submission to CELICA, and first released chapter ever! It’s made with the LT engine, so it just needs to be unzipped and run. Hopefully, it’s not as busted as I think it is.
