So I admittedly have a request I’m willing to pay for but I myself am admittedly too incompetent with Nightmare and hex editing to figure it out.
I have a custom ROM of FE4 and FE5 (not linking it except in DMs ofc, for obvious reasons), the former has Lil Nordion combined with FE4 Modern plus my own little edits with what I can do with Nightmare (like, say, Azelle being a Fire Mage), the latter is just FE5’s Lil Manster with whatever edits I made here and there. The thing that stumps me is text edits, which I’ma be real, I have plenty of cash to burn but I struggle to wrap my head around hex editing.
So my request is this: because I want to play a version of FE4 and 5 that has those text edits but I don’t know how to do it, I’ll pay $60-80 for those text edits for my custom ROMs. I’m willing to ask for more, but $60-80 is where I have enough discretionary power for what’s not even a hardcore edit but a pretty silly request borne of my own ineptitude. I’d really appreciate it.
If you’re wondering what edits I want to be made, it’s several name changes and the character names of FE5’s Lil Manster characters to be in line with their official English translations as per CYL and Heroes. I wanted to change the class names in line with how I envision Nintendo would’ve potentially changed the class names in an earlier era before adopting the policy of ditching the dub names. I also want the in-game dialogue changed to reflect their edited names, if that’s not too much of a hassle. Edits are as follows:
