There are also quite a lot skills need a unique icon to display inside community cskillsys repo (which is just displayed as a temp “W.I.P.” icon for now), it will be nice if you guys considered contributing
SkillInfo.md at main
So would I submit a pull request to the github, or would it be better to just dump a bunch that I did?
Probably easier to just dump them here tbh. Then I can take them too : D
If that’s the case, I’ll just dump them here.
HP Bonus (Just went for a heart. Simple as)
Defiant Crit/Avoid (Based off of the 3H skills)
Anima/Light/Elderfaire (Did off of memory based on the GBA weapon icons)
Magic Eye (Just wanted to use an Eye tbh)
Outdoor Fighter (Based on the FE13 icon)
Adept (Based on the FE9 icon)
Gale Wings (Used a wing, and the lines are to represent the wind)
Inner Flame (1, 2, 3, respectively) (Saw that the BattleRange_ToDo series wasn’t given proper names, and decided to change that)
Analytic (had no idea how to go about it, but I remembered the nerd emoji. Couldn’t fit the glasses tho
)
Light and Dark (Went with the Yin/Yang inspiration, since that’s an iconic way they are depicted.) (unrelated, but I hate the word iconic)
Bushido (Based on the FE14 icon)
Blue Lion Rule (Took the Fury skill, edited it so the lion was completely blue)
Faerghus Ancestry (literally the Crest of Blaiddyd)
Winged Shield (Had trouble with the wings on the shield, so I just went for depictions of birds)
Effect Spore (Mushroom emitting spores)
Yngvi Ascendant (Used the Yewfelle as a base, as that’s the weapon for Ullur’s bloodline)
Divine Pulse (meant to be a hourglass, like the W3H skill)
Chlorophyll (it’s a plant taking in sunlight)
Rain Dish (it’s literally a dish taking in rainwater)
Jesus, well done
Consider the following for analytic: light-glint off of a single glasses-covered eye.
The nerd emoji feels like it’s making fun of it, and well… yeah.
nice job
Thank you!
Now it has been merged to master branch: Add skill icon with credit · Pull Request #16
Added some more:
Whitemage: Healing staves heal 50% more than usual
Death Blight: Inflict the “Damned” status on enemies. Usable once per map (units with the "Damned status die when it wears off)
Anger Point: Plus 10 ATK for the turn after sustaining a critical hit
Decadon: Deal a fixed 10 points of damage each attack
Twin Crests: The unit can perform two actions a turn
Secret: Allows the unit to access the secret shop
Seer: All unit attacks hit, all enemy attacks miss
Anger Point (Figured it should be represented by a point in an inferno.
Death Blight (A red skull to indicate something unnatural)
Decadon (A sword with the number 10.)
Secret (Made my own member card)
Seer (the eye sees all)
Twin Crests (based on the FE16 skill)
White Mage (decided on a white robed man using a staff, and the staff is glowing)
Honestly I would’a made Whitemage much more of a direct Final Fantasy reference.
Knocked it out of the again Shtick, nice one!
Made a new batch to help clear some gaps in the C skill system.
The Inori series (Basic, Prayer Of Agility/Protection/Strength) (Not too sure how this would be different from basic Miracle, except the variations.)
Plus and Minus (literally the symbols one would find on a calculator)
Multiscale, Solid Rock and Sturdy (More from the Pokémon ability series)
Weapon Heal (The green sparkles indicate a healing effect)
Also earlier in this thread, I did make the Blacksmith icon.
Added some more:
Destiny Bond: If the enemy kills this unit, they die as well
Danger Ranger: Allows the unit to rescue and drop a unit in the same turn
Iron Dome: Take 50% less damage, but set avoid to 0
Kill Streak: Gain +1% crit for every battle the unit wins in this chapter
Insomnia: This unit is immune to the sleep status effect
Magic Seal:Block magic from being used in a 10 tile radius of the user
Mend Arms: Restore every weapon the unit can use by 1 when defeating a full HP enemy in one hit
Mimic: Attack with the same weapon as the enemy
