I’ve been playing the romhacks in this site available like Sacred Echoes and Vision Quest, and for the most part they’re really good. However, there’s been the ones I couldn’t get into like Eligor’s Spear and Justice and Pride. So I’ve got a bit of a selfish question for those that have been in the community way longer than I have. What romhack do you recommend next?

What kind of romhack experience are you looking for? Many hacks are very specialized in terms of the areas they accomplish and excel at.

Deity device - amazing story and characters, story heavy tho so if you don’t like that could be a lot - great writing and gameplay tho
Dark lord and the maiden of light - feels like a real gba fire emblem game with improvements. Amazing gameplay and story, one of the best hacks ever made. Very fit to the series.
Dark amulet - Also great. Really cool characters and story beats, well done.
Dream of five - recently completed, lowkey peak fiction and gameplay. possibly the best all around fire emblem hack every made, the detail is insane.
I feel like i’m not doing a great job differentiating between these different games but I would say they’re all 10/10s in their own ways. If I were you, I would start with dark lord and the maiden of light or dark amulet.

Yeah, storge may be short. But it is really good.
Uh… Also I made things. They aren’t that good but they are made with heart and are 41 chapters divided among 8 stories divided among 6 hacks. So you can look through them and see if anything catches your drift.
But shilling aside, play storge. I can also recommend Super Mariomon if you want to play a pokemon romhack.
